You should know that Afeni Shakur was a point of contention between the US and Cuba and up to last year she was listed as one of the on going roadblocks to the US dissolving the embargo and allowing access and commerce with Cuba

"Dear Mama" is a song by American hip hop recording artist 2Pac, released on February 21, 1995 as the lead single from his third studio album, Me Against the World (1995). The song is a tribute to his mother, Afeni Shakur.
