Malik Abdul Basit popularly known as Malik B was pronounced dead on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. An official statement concerning the deceased cause of death is yet to be identified.

@DonChampionTV announced his passing in a tweet post on Wednesday saying – ”Mourning my beloved cousin today. He was so talented and had a huge heart. I still remember when he and The Roots were starting out. He’d give me and my dad their cassette tapes to listen to. I miss you already, Malik”



The Roots founder and legendary American rapper and singer, Malik B died at the age of 47. Malik B passed away causing so much heartbreak and agony to the beloved family.
