RIP BIGGSARGE

I try to make a jokes to lighten the mood, but this one... I just don't feel like it. I was hoping that he was getting better. I wasn't close to him, but the impact that he had on the board he was a staple and while the board will move on, it won't be the same. BiggSarge you will be missed, we love you and GODspeed sir.

Donald Hannibal Walker, 58, of Magnolia, died May 19, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital, Jackson.
Visitation is Monday until services at 2 p.m. at Peoples Undertaking Co. with the Rev. Brandon E.J. Williams officiating.

Donald was born Sept. 15, 1962, to the late Rev. Cleo Walker Sr. and Myrtis Powell Walker at Beacham Memorial Hospital in Magnolia.

He graduated from South Pike High School Class of 1980. Directly after high school, Donald joined the military, where he served 24 years.

After his retirement, Donald decided to further his education by attending National American University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 2009.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Alfred Walker Sr. and Raymond Walker; and sister-in-law, Elaine Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Michelle (Alfred) Walker-Brown; son, Dareece (Sara) Walker; four brothers, Cleo Walker Jr., David V. Walker, Winston (Clara) Walker and Darrell C. Walker; a special cousin, Lillie Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Donald will be truly missed but will live on through his children.

this one is a gut punch.

A fucking gut punch

For almost a decade it was me, Biggsarge, Cornbread, and TooTrilla working tirelessly to keep the music thread jumping

When I started the Premium and Movie threads ..... I kind of stepped back from the Music thread in 2019 and My man Biggsarge was almost singlehandly keeping the music thread active. He was always posting rap joints because I just never had the ear for good rap like I do with R&B and Soul music.

Like me... My man never asked for shoutouts. Never asked to be a Mod... He did cause of his love of music and wanting to share it...

This right here is truly a loss.... one of the biggest losses that I've felt on Bgol. This is right up here with the loss of Dirty.

I know you guys never want any props or recognition

I understand

but it shouldn't have to take death for us to give you the flowers and the recognition you deserve!
