Man…longtime!
Considering our brother passing…and we’re still here it’s going well.
With most of us it could always be better.
That’s one of the things working in health care. Sadly, health, sometimes recovery, and sadly someone passing is damn near a deadly occurrence for me and some of the other healthcare professionals on the board.
For me and everyone else. If you can control and take care of your wellness….
Mental, physical, and spiritual….take care of yourself.

I went to look hoping to see a page where I posted because I legitimately do not know what year I started posting here. My guess is 2002 but could have been earlier.
The oldest archived copy of BGOL.com is from January 1997 and it says "BLACK GOLD On-Line is Coming."
There are archived pages after that which are clearly this board but none of the dates I clicked on showed any activity.

Back then the main URL was www.blackgirlonline.com. Then you could select the option to visit the message board. The address to the message board was numeric. For years, months and days I had that address memorized and used it to directly access the message board that became BGOL.US in 2004.
WOW. Condolences. Im sure this is my second name on here and this one is from 2006. Back when you use to have to careful craft a post because it was dangerous just replying to a post....

First and foremost, please accept my condolences. Your cousin was a heavy presence here. I remember I used to think he was real reckless. And once we got to chopping it up and even though we mostly kept our anonymity on here for obvious reasons.... I had shared some shit with him that I thought for sure he would try to clown about. But bro was mad cool. Cooler than I had ever expected. I had gained a new found respect for him. He'll never be forgotten and his presence missed.
