It was tough in his case.
Even though he went to school on the west side with us...whenever he went home he was back on the block
Brothers, uncles, cousins all certified killers and active in the streets. After he left our school summer of 10th grade he just adopted the hood persona he saw & lived around all his life.
It’s hard to think of my nigga out there puttin in work but i know it’s a reality of what comes with the lifestyle. Point is. He didn’t have to still be over there. He didn’t need to be on the block still everyday. His grandma doesn’t still need to be in the same house.
It’s a lot of shit I wish didn’t happen the way it did but every man has to choose his own path.

I think his mistake was hanging around his old area. Looking outside of the Black community...name me one group that actually has rich and poor living around each other in peace?
