I was a late bloomer in listening to hip hop. Because of how I grew up around white folks, I spent a large portion of my life listen to alternative. It was about 1996, I went to my older brother's room and I noticed he had an album with some kats in Timbs and fatigues. I was like "who the fuck is Mobb Dee? The Infamous?"
I popped the CD in and it changed my life. No lie. I became a hardcore Mobb deep fan. I looked for everything they did. Prodigy's HNIC album is one of my personal all-time favorites. I got a tat behind the inspiration of that album. He will truly be missed. RIP P.
