With built-in wi-fi, I am now interested. If I knew a new one was coming, I might have held off on the AppleTV

I'll have to research this. I have an Iomega Home Media Server that streams my videos throughout the house vis dnla. Of course there's no web streaming or channels but that's why I have a PS3. What's the advantage of a Roku 2 over my setup?

Looks like Roku is the way to go. After researching I see that Roku has hulu & hulu plus which costs $7.99 a month. Using these 2 you are able to get most channels such as AMC, TLC, TNT, USA, etc...
