It's a shame because Roy Jones was probably one of if not the most Athletically gifted Boxers in the history of modern boxing. In fact, he was so good he never really learned how to fight. Calling this man Unorthodox is just scratching the surface. Often it felt as if you were watching a video game. In fact, I could swear I saw him Dragon Punch a dude in the ring. Unfortunately, we all get old. Couple that with infrequent fighting and it is the perfect recipe for what happened to Roy Jones Jr. If Roy had been a better Fundamental fighter then his later career would have been a lot better. With his speed gone his poor footwork and low hands often left him vulnerable.
