I just see the pattern that is repeated over and over and I see the same tricks and techniques used to take people down. Character assassination is a real thing.
We are still in an era where a woman's word can destroy you.
Of course a manager with high end clients would jump ship; especially when it looks like the machine to take him down is in motion. That doesn't confirm or deny guilt; that just shows that his manager wants to preserve his own career.
