South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun apologized to citizens and submitted his resignation - South Korean Yonhap news agency.

It was Kim Yong Hyun who reportedly proposed the introduction of martial law in the country.

The Minister of Defense served in his post for almost exactly 3 months - from September 6, 2024.

It's funny how the soldiers have their faces covered up as if they are working undercover with the cartel
What’s funny is Guinea being a corrupt nation and a good percentage of the presidents in this nation have been arrested and convicted of corruption.

South Korean police have launched an investigation into the president for treason, Yonhap news agency reported.

Let us recall that the day before yesterday, Yun Seok-yeol introduced martial law, which was soon lifted by parliament.

The opposition Restore Korea Party and a group of 59 activists filed a complaint against the defense minister, army chief of staff and interior minister.

The army commander, who held the post of martial law commander, has already resigned.

Also, 191 out of 300 deputies have already signed a statement on the impeachment of the president. The vote may take place on Saturday, December 7.

Seoul will vote on impeachment of the President of South Korea today.

Opposition supporters have already gathered outside the country's parliament. They are demanding the resignation of Yun Seok-yol, who recently attempted to introduce martial law and disperse the legislative bodies of power.

Earlier it was reported that 191 out of 300 deputies had already signed a statement on the impeachment of the president. But the decision requires 200 votes, and only deputies from pro-presidential parties can provide the missing votes.

First they changed his name to Yoon Ghit Chit.
Then they changed it to Goh Fuk Oph.

He's lucky they didn't change it to Lai Doun Lo.

More action from the Korea states

“In South Korea, the president has been impeached. This time, the one who was temporarily appointed to replace the previous one, who was impeached after the failure of the military coup. The political struggle in South Korea is intensifying after the failure of the coup and impeachment. It is ironic that the former president boasted about the stability of the South Korean political system in his latest swearing at the DPRK this summer.”
