This is a fresh take on White folks confessing to shit that they'd always gotten away with time and again with little to no consequences.

It's an entertaining thread that coaxes CACs to fess up to their past sins that are always used as character assassinations against Black people.

For the first time in a long time i actually think white folk really want trump out

Seriously

I remember a bgol alum said this awhile back

White folk don't really like they racism loud. They want they slaves to love them. They like vampires...

Sunlight and they reflection and facing God kills them instantly

This president exposed them out in the light for the world to clearly see. They couldn't even hide from themselves and all that church talk was damning their own souls, their own blasphemy is their demise.

So all those factions the dumb ass right decided to allow to dominate their party who wanted to finally come out from the shadows

overplayed their hand.

And look what happened.

This isn't really related to the protests but I'm going to drop it here anyway.

Does Donald have any real friends?... he seems to only have "friends " he can benefit from. And once Howard (I'm not a fan of his either, ) actually asked the president what he was doing to solve this pandemic...then its "I don't have to take this, I'm going home. Oh and were not friends anymore." Such a narcissistic and weak minded person

damn ALL the secrets coming out now....

Buffy: Cordelia Was Black, But The WB Told Whedon to Make Her White
Joss Whedon wanted Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Cordelia to be played by a black actor but was blocked by The WB's fears of interracial couples.
Joss Whedon wanted Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Cordelia Chase to be played by a black actor. However, The WB forced him to change his plans.
Whedon’s former PA George Snyder explained the original plan for Cordelia in Slayers & Vampires: The Complete Uncensored, Unauthorized Oral History of Buffy & Angel. "Originally, Joss was looking for a black actress for the role of Cordelia," he revealed. "But one of the stumbling blocks there was the way we knew Joss anticipated the relationships shifting and changing. There was some concern at the network at the time that interracial relationships would be problematic. At that point, the WB was a different kind of network. I know that came up and Joss said, 'I can’t have restraints on how I mix and match the dynamics. That’s part of the fun of the show, that Willow is in love with Xander, Xander is in love with Buffy, Cordelia can’t stand any of them yet finds herself drawn to Xander.' Joss decided it wasn’t worth fighting that fight at that particular time, but he didn’t want to be hindered in the dynamic of the shifting triangles."

Even though Charisma Carpenter landed the role of Cordelia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast a number of black actors over the years.

In addition to Phill Lewis' Mr. Platt, there was Bianca Lawson's Kendra, Leonard Roberts' Forrest Gates, K. Todd Freeman's Mr. Trick and even a cameo from Ashanti as the demonic Lissa. Moreover, while Whedon missed out on having an interracial relationship in Buffy's formative years, later seasons introduced this with Giles and Olivia Williams (Phina Oruche) having a brief fling and Faith's relationship with Robin Wood (D.B Woodside). Still, the series was criticized for a lack of diversity, and all of the above were relatively minor characters.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran on The WB from 1997-2001 before it transferred to UPN for its final two seasons. While the series was known for tackling themes of love and loss, the network was less comfortable with the idea of an interracial coupling between Xander and Cordelia. Only recently, Whedon tackled another issue of diversity and said he wished he'd made Hannigan's Willow bisexual from the start. Similar to the idea of having Cordelia being played by a black actor, Whedon admitted there were concerns Willow's sexuality wouldn't have been accepted at that time.

That said, news of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot was officially confirmed in 2018 and suggested things will be different, with an African American actor as the next female lead.

Fantastic Four: Trank Regrets Not Quitting When Fox Vetoed Black Sue Storm
Director Josh Trank admitted that he wishes he quit the 2015 Fantastic Four film as soon as his plans to cast a black woman as Sue Storm were vetoed.

While promoting his new movie Capone, director Josh Trank has been upfront on his difficulties and shortcomings in directing the 2015 film Fantastic Four. His newest comments have revealed that he originally planned to have the movie's Sue Storm be black, like her brother Johnny Storm, only for studio executives to nix the idea.

Trank explained in a video interview with First Cut that, early on in Fantastic Four's production, he was "mostly interested in a black Susan Storm, a black Johnny Storm and a black Franklin Storm...but when it came down to it, I found a lot of pretty heavy pushback on casting a black woman in that role."

Trank also expressed regrets about not doing more in response to this casting plan being nixed. "When I look back on that, I should have just walked when that realization hit me," he explained. "I feel, like, embarrassed about that, that I didn't, just out of principle. Those aren't the values that I stand for in my own life and those weren't the values then or ever for me."

Trank finished up the discussion by stating, "If there's one regret I have...it's that one issue."

Fantastic Four, directed by Josh Trank and written by Trank, Jeremy Slater and Simon Kinberg, was released in August 2015 to disastrous reviews and box office performance.

KEY POINTS
  • Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos sent a memo to employees urging them to cancel all meetings on Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S.
  • Rather than making it a company holiday, Amazon will offer a “range of online learning opportunities” for employees throughout the day, Bezos said.
  • Other tech companies, including Twitter, Square, Google and Facebook, have also chosen to commemorate Juneteenth, which is Friday.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is joining a list of tech leaders calling for their companies to commemorate Juneteenth.
In a memo to employees Tuesday, Bezos encouraged them to cancel all meetings on Friday to honor Juneteenth, which celebrates the emancipation of Black people from slavery in the U.S. On that date in 1865, Union Gen. Gordon Granger read the Emancipation Proclamation to African Americans.

Rather than making it a company holiday, Amazon will offer a “range of online learning opportunities” for employees throughout the day, Bezos said. He added that employees should “take some time to reflect, learn and support each other.”

N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announces plans to make Juneteenth a state holiday

Amazon is the latest tech giant to recognize Juneteenth, amid growing support for the Black Lives Matter protests for racial justice in the aftermath of the police killing of George Floyd. Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, said last week that both companies will honor Juneteenth as a company holiday in the U.S., while Google has instructed employees to cancel meetings that day. Facebook has also encouraged its employees to commemorate Juneteenth with a day of learning. Other companies and organizations like Nike and the National Football league made Juneteenth a holiday.
In recent weeks, Bezos has shown support for the Black Lives Matter movement in a series of Instagram posts, in which he called out angry customers who criticized the company’s show of solidarity with protesters. Earlier this month, Amazon announced it will donate $10 million to social justice organizations. The company also tweeted that the “inequitable and brutal treatment of Black people” must stop.
Here’s the full memo:
From: “Bezos, Jeff” <jeff@amazon.com>

Subject: Juneteenth
Over the past few weeks, the Steam and I have spent a lot of time listening to customers and employees and thinking about how recent events in our country have laid bare the systemic racism and injustices that oppress Black individuals and communities.
This Friday, June 19, is Juneteenth, the oldest-known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. I’m cancelling all of my meetings on Friday, and I encourage all of you to do the same if you can. We’re providing a range of online learning opportunities for employees throughout the day.
Please take some time to reflect, learn, and support each other. Slavery ended a long time ago, but racism didn’t.
Jeff

President Eisenhower was a fine general and a good, decent man, but if he had fought World War II the way he fought for civil rights, we would all be speaking German now.
