Gene Hackman was a great one. I mean he could really do the damned thing. While crimson Tide is one of my absolute favorites, he has done his thing on the big screen for many years. And even though he had been in retirement for at least the past 20

He also served in the Marine corps, so Semper Fi, fair winds and following seas

One of the greatest actors ever who is rarely mentioned when people discuss the greats.

I read that it may be the result of carbon monoxide in their home that killed him and his wife but it's tragic that they both have died like this along with their dog.

What a great legendary actor

He could portray a villain to a relentless cop or FBI Agent. The man did it all.
He could be sinister...No Way Out....The Superman Movies. Great intensity in The French Connection. Scene stealer in Bonnie and Clyde. Mississippi Burning ,The Poseidon Adventure....I could go on and on. I was happy to see him smiling and enjoying his retirement briefly on The Food Network. RIP YOU LEGEND
