You know what I've noticed? Have you guys noticed that every single successful black man there's a time people want to tear them down? Within our own community? This has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m taking about. I’m talking about celebrity’s….not doctors and lawyers. I get what you tried to do….but wrong argument.
Crab mentality, that's all it is with us. Crabs in a fucking barrel. Slavery really did a number on us
As soon as a Black person "gets too successful" we gotta start tearing them down and asking how they really made all that money.
at least some of us in here have common sense, unlike the rest of these gossiping, attention seeking dudes in here and on social media.Man if you've ever been to New York City during an award show you'd know how ridiculous this is.
This 13-year-old girl just walking around the VMAs until she found a limousine driver who decided to let her chill and go to the big house party later. That's laughable.
Hell just wait outside a theater after a Broadway show and try to reach a celebrity. It's too many cops and other shit out there to get remotely close to a damn driver let alone a celeb. And it's been that way since the 80s
Only the crackers of BGOL would believe this shit and I see a lot of you in here.
And finally there would be no need to drug a 13 year old. Come on now when does common sense kick in.
Oh one more thing when you sign an NDA you need ID. They filed a 13 year old girl in the records to sue later if she talked? You crackas disgust me.
I literally named Dr Dre, Jay Z and and Master P…the thread was about a successful rapper but I’ll clarify I’m referencing successful entertainers….not successful doctors or lawyers. You know what I've noticed? Have you guys noticed that every single successful black man there's a time people want to tear them down? Within our own community?
You said everytime a ”successful” blackmen.. you didn’t say celebs.. like I said you can be successful / rich without being a celebriTy.. maybe you need to word it right to get your point across.. that’s my problem that people try to act like just cause some celebs get flack this represents all black successful people it dosent.. which goes back to my response no all “successful “ people don’t get negative flack
Man I'm just laughing at a 13 year old signing a NDA. That should've had this case thrown out but they know in this society the damage is already done.at least some of us in here have common sense, unlike the rest of these gossiping, attention seeking dudes in here and on social media.
It's the Diddy effect. It's open season on all celebrity Black men who have ever been in the same room as Diddy. So is anyone ever gonna answer why all these victims coming out at the same time?![]()
So is anyone ever gonna answer why all these victims coming out at the same time?![]()
Bro as soon as puff got caught upSo is anyone ever gonna answer why all these victims coming out at the same time?![]()
Man is anyone going to question why a 13 year old was walking around NYC at night going from limo to limo until she magically found diddys driverSo is anyone ever gonna answer why all these victims coming out at the same time?![]()
Was R Kelly there.. that's another questionMan is anyone going to question why a 13 year old was walking around NYC at night going from limo to limo until she magically found diddys driver
This isnt the West Coast. The VMAs end around 12am.
Then she had to find a way to the Hamptons
Sign a NDA
Get raped around what 3-5am
Find a way home and go straight to school the next day for 7th grade history
Yeah I know just being thorough in terms of why we may see such vitriol against black men at times, but at the same time people like Trump say and do crazy things too. The women get on code though and I guess we know why since it keeps the power system. They wouldn't even vote for a women knowing what it may mean for their men. Backing sometimes need to just happen for the overall betterment in furthering the goal of the many. You know what I can’t say you or wrong right because our sistas get it bad too.
I have no clue because I remember they wanted his music completely removed to prevent him or his family getting royalties. It is not the case though as this was just reported days ago.I thought that money was going to his victims?
In high school I was confused when OJ got acquitted, but he was found guilty of the murder in the civil case. Years later it is now a thing in celebrity world. The fact that you can anonymously accuse someone civilly makes no sense.
Was R Kelly there.. that's another question
But if there's proof out there then it isn't clout. I'm sure people knew this was coming after Diddy got arrested because more black entertainers in the music industry were gonna go down too.If you know anything about Tony Buzbee, he's a racist MAGA activist using his ambulance chasing law license to primarily to go after black men.
He ran as the mayor here and billed himself as the "Trump of the South" that should tell you where his head is at.
He does this for money, and also conservative clout.
The funny thing is and I know already everyone's take on Bill Cosby, but this was an argument that got swept under the rug when it came out that the prosecutor ran for politics vowing to put Cosby in jail. Some of these people aren't out for justice, but for other motives at times. If you know anything about Tony Buzbee, he's a racist MAGA activist using his ambulance chasing law license to primarily to go after black men.

Yup! Amazon did a who movie on them called SwarmHere's the weird part. A lot of the people trying to link Puff and Jay are weird Beyonce stans that hate that she's married to Jay. Online Beyonce stans are a strange bunch.
It took NO TIME for Beyonce's stans to get at Jay-Z already online.
This is what I also alluded to with my post. I see why Jay Z responded swiftly because online is a menace. It started in NO TIME once news broke. If a BILLIONAIRE HUSBAND is not safe from scrutiny and hate what about the average husband? Even if Jay has a questionable past, there is no indication that he has been a terrible husband to Beyonce, yet this is trending right now.
This is true and I also get the pain some people have gone through and they just take it out on everyone. It's just that other races get on code when it needs to happen and I agree with some that say we are way too quick to jump on the bandwagon of people's downfall. The media doesn't make it easier either.
For instance, you take Elvis scenarios and compare it to when MJ died with media bringing up allegations. There is a hypocrisy, but that goes back to an even bigger issue stemming from history.
I posted about Emmett Till because a lot in this new generation have no idea how loaded things can get without knowing past causes.

Innocent Black people significantly more likely to be wrongfully convicted of sexual assault
For Black History Month, we will highlight stories and statistics that aim to demonstrate the experience of being Black and wrongfully convicted. Today, we are discussing the staggering fact that i…mtinnocenceproject.org
The Diddy thing is different due to Cassie and other elements, but I am wary with this Jay Z situation and accusing him and making him guilty right away because of said history with black people. The timing is perfect too with Diddy's situation and I do think it would have been harder to believe or go through if this was a one off despite some may try to link his past with Foxy and her cousin, Aaliyah, and even those saying Beyonce too.
I would agree with you in 2024. But I actually went to the 1999 VMAs at the Met Opera House hosted by Chris Rock as a 14 year old with my uncle, my cousin and my uncle's GF who was a MTV executive. I got lucky and went because my uncle GF knew a director who wasn't able to go and took their invitation. Each invitations had a plus one. The main lobby to get to seats (ours upper deck) was near celebrities. This was when these awards shows were filled with only celebs, industry executives, MTV executives along with friends and family. Now these award shows are open to the general public and influencers to buy tickets to.Man if you've ever been to New York City during an award show you'd know how ridiculous this is.

I don’t know about that, most people believe Watson is guilty, even on this board…Bo is my guy
But he a little bit full of sh*t
"We" never co signed Buzbee even during the Watson case
2 things can be true
Watson a nasty man and Buzbee is an asshole.
They've been waiting to kick Jayz back in, so they won't care.If you know anything about Tony Buzbee, he's a racist MAGA activist using his ambulance chasing law license to primarily to go after black men.

thats not the situation described in the lawsuit...im sure your situation has always happenedI would agree with you in 2024. But I do believe this suit is BS tho.
