Went to church in BK today.

And yes, T&A were hanging out, red bottom shoes, high tight dresses, etc. to cause any good straight Christian man to have a few unholy thoughts.

I'm no prude, but when you see that walking up and down the aisle for the better part of 3 hours can you honestly preach about self control, righteousness, etc.?

I think the NOI is right in having man and women sit in separate aisles and basically remain covered...........if only to stay righteous for one day.

I know on Easter, folk get crazy with their attire, but I've seen more discretion in a club atmosphere.

I get what you're saying. My problem is that I've seen people on Facebook for instance crack on what people came to church wearing like a guy who wear a short sleeved button up to church. And my thing is that it should be about people coming to church with the right spirit and mindset and what they wear is irrelevant.

Many do! This is usually strongly suggested to the leaders, inner circle or members "in good standing". Often on days like Easter and Mother's Day you get a lot of visitors in attendance. The visitors end up thinking other visitors are members, when actually they're visitors like they are. These visitors will bring a more "worldly" flair to the church.

Secondly, it's a damn if you do or damn if you don't delimna churches face. If they tell people how to dress then they're not "accepting them as they are" are being too judgmental. If they don't then they're accused of not having standards.

f that you will never catch me in a church that tells me how i have to dress in order to attend service. got these fucking "mega" churches that have a bunch of brainwashed individuals. no way in hell i am joining a church that tells me if i forgot my offering they have an atm machine outside or they take debit and in order to join i have to fill out a giant packet and include all my financial info.

These big mega churches that have big time lawyers, doctors, financial consultants, etc. that should each have a 5 minute presentation during their services.

If they folk suggest that ( as with the dressing thing ) it could turn some of their 'customers' off.

but what used to happen is that the church mothers/elder women would walk straight up to the woman in question with coverings and say "you need to put this over your dress" embarrassing as hell and the woman in question wouldn t say shit but do as told.

honestly, the whole "come as you are" bullshit, is just for them to have numbers.

Church is a BUSINESS, and the Christian church exploits it further than most others.

At this point, it isn't much to do with ethical or moral cleansing at all. The only requirement to be in their club is to just say you believe. Theres no hard work or heavy lifting at all, when you would think, that if you wanna be seen as some kind of moral authority, you'd have at least SOME requirement.

But now there are so many twisted little catch phrases that people use that keep them from having to be held to anything, it's ridiculous.

1. COme as you are (which is no where in their book)

2. Don't judge (the biggest load of crap ever- we live in a country where we appoint JUDGES, plus, how can you ever discern if anything is good or bad for you without JUDGING?)

3. That one about how Jesus walked with criminals. This allows you to be involved and around shady bullshit, in the guise of one day changing shady people.

Preachers WANT sexy women in their churches, just as promoters let ladies in free to night clubs. It draws men, and even if it don't then thats more for the men that are there, plus ladies got money to tithe.

if this guy can preach, how is there any assumed moral authority? Simply by being a preacher, he can supposedly get into the magic party in the sky when he dies. To say the opposite, gets you the response "Only God knows his heart"..... riiiiiight

thats the same problem everytime i go to my mother's church...damn multicultural church...they come in all types of flavors there....long tight skirt, breasteses all out, high (sometimes big) curvy asses, walking in around in high heels or high heeled boots...so many impure thoughts i have to suppress

Let me tell you. You can mack during service easily with a little effort. Like going to the alter and conveniently placing yourself next to a chick you want to hold hands with during prayer time, or "forgetting your bible" so you can share the bible with the said chick, or inviting her out to eat after services. A lot of time however, the deacons done already beat kats to the punch...

The real macking goes on at bible study, in the parking lot after services, and at after hours church functions. Like once, I got at one of the deacons daughters at a trip to six flags. I chatted her up the entire trip and a few days afterwards... Ended up smashing a couple weeks later. Guess she didn't want to seem easy.

They are actually easy to bag... Especially since you see them often if you attend service regularly. Just don't be a big mouth talking type of kat after you smash... Otherwise, that'll be your last piece of holy vagina at that temple.
