I have co-workers who are die hard Trump supporters.
But as of late, they dont wanna talk politics because they are now being directly affected by his shenanigans.

Very sage advice. One of the biggest sources of conflicts in relationships -- be it friends -- spouse -- co-workers etc is grownups trying to control other grownups' behaviors.
