There doin this in north philly so called northern liberties area...houses skinny as hell now. Not sure how the developers are getting these zoning variances to make the house slimmer..not using the whole width of the lot...They started putting two houses on properties that use to have just one house to maximize profits leaving people with tiny backyards and very little outside privacy
It's happening here in Cincinnati also replacing old water pipes, in the innercity. Demographics shifting and those who have no property being priced out.
Facts! I am not from DC, but the changes from 2003 up until now has been wild!
I've been saying this for years, but DC is a test city for real. Everything that happens there seems to appear in other places like 5-10 years later...
