So when’s the housing bubble bursting?

What 1.8 million will get you locally. Originally listed just under 2 million.

SMH.

To be fair though, a 5/4 3300 sqft house in a desirable area will never be cheap. It's twice the size of the average house in Florida.

Same in DC

You paying for location though...Sit and Hold for like 10 years. That area was kinda hood and still is, but it's being cleaned up.

I'll never understand greedy folks like this seller. It's been on the market for over a year. Who'd want a house that's almost twice the costs of the comparable houses and needs renovation on top of that?

True. I was just thinking about it being a 100 year-old house that will need upgrades & renovations.

My dad lives in the area. Older house for his too. The builders / developers have come by a few times over the years looking to entice him and some of his neighbors into selling. They have smaller houses on a hill ... large lots, but smaller places.

They have declined in that they haven't been met with "offers they can't refuse" to sell their places, plus they're older in age and not looking to move at this point in their lives.

They know if and when they sell their houses (about 4 people) their places will be demolished and 2 - 3 monster homes will be up in their place.

Wow! The Walk, Transit, and Bike scores are all in the 90s.

BUT, it got an F rating for crime.

That’s SOMA lots of break ins and robberies there. Your car will get broken into or stolen if no garage. Most of the city isn’t safe. No area is isolated from crime

Charlie Munger lived in the same home for 70 years: Rich people who build 'really fancy houses' become 'less happy'

Munger, the billionaire investor and longtime business partner to Warren Buffett, died on Tuesday at the age of 99. He'd previously filmed a wide-ranging interview with CNBC's Becky Quick, which aired on Thursday evening, and discussed his rationale for living in the same California home over the past 70 years.

Just a reminder that wire fraud, title fraud and scams using artificial intelligence are on the rise. One of my agent’s clients just wired $4000 to the wrong account because she was called and given a change to the wiring instructions. The caller knew personal details about the transaction that nobody else would have known. They determined that her email has been hacked, and the scammer used that information to convince her they were legit.

I’m seriously going to buy property in San Fran then vote republican to get rid of the homeless

Good luck those are all cash buyers in SF paying 8 million in cash . You got millions of liquid cash laying around to bid against other multi millionaires?

I livevin Texas, a state ran by the GOP with high crime rates and obscene property taxes. Good luck with that.
I don't fuck with neither party but you should see property tax relief on your homestead.
