Hacking into WiFi, for the most part sure but that’s a ring account being hacked and probably other credentials the family has are compromised.

I have mixed feelings about smart tech or tech in kids rooms. I haven’t had (that I know of) anyone try and chat with my kids but I have heard Alexa on my speaker activate and respond too many times not from hearing “Alexa” but bc of a child’s laugh or cry.

Cause it's always on and always listening. Feds use to place bugs in houses and businesses of Malcolm, Martin, mob bosses, etc. Now we do the job for them. Heard a story about an attorney that went to work and her colleague told her she left a voicemail on his phone that he didn't think was meant for him. It was the sound of her and her husband having sex. Apparently, whatever words she said during the act, triggered Alexa to call his number. It was late, so it went to his vm. Got rid of them shits years ago.

Yeah, I also wonder if they are truly on even when you disable/turn off the assistant.
A classmate that went on to work for apple said that when when you turn Siri “off” you’re just setting it to not respond to “hey siri” it “can” still hear you.
Not sure if he was just fuckin with me or not but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s exactly how most of these voice assistants work.

I always thought cameras inside the crib was weird....even with all the extra security features...I just know me walkin around the crib butt ass naked is gonna end up online somehow..LOL. By all means look at what my door sees and the driveway. I dont care
A famous youtuber (a hardcore computer guy at that) had his house camera hacked and he got exposed. I guess it shows anyone can get got if not careful with ALL your security measures.

Probably used as a nanny cam.

So you're saying the cameras that are placed throughout my apartment covertly is because of a nanny that takes care of me that needs to be watched?

No five year-old needs a camera in the room watching them, I know what it's like and it's a form of abuse. This is what I'm talking about where they will invent some magical reason to do something heinous to you.

They're watching you for good measure. Counting down.

Child Protective Services needs to be called on these people for putting cameras in a five-year-old room trying to normalize this activity. This weird behavior has now become normalized, why people put cameras in my apartment or hotel I don't understand.

Once a child is able to communicate that they are hungry, need something or can go to the bathroom by themselves then that is when the cameras got to go. If you wanna find out what they're doing, you stop by and knock on the door to talk to them.

There are plenty of nanny porn that is posted online where they thought they were not being watched, I think that's the whole purpose of having nanny cams is hoping to catch child porn, sexual activity. Do you have cameras at the school or daycare center, No, so you shouldn't need cameras in your house watching the person watching your kids, and you definitely don't need a camera watching your children 24/7.

By putting cameras in their rooms, you are normalizing this behavior that violate human rights. They will either accept being under surveillance or do it themselves to other people and think there's nothing wrong with it.

It is important to recognize their privacy and human rights by recognizing their private space, knocking on their door, or removing cameras.

The positive side is that you are preparing them for the future where they are self-aware that they are being watched all the time. unfortunately whites don't recognize your privacy similar to a slave.

You'd have to be in a postition to procreate before you could even process thoughts about the things sane adults do to protect their kids and keep them safe from harm. He asked a similar question about the bean shaped protrusion that butts out of the skin between his legs last week so then we had explained to him what a clitoris is.:dunno:

doesnt matter..................when you take courses like Certified Ethical Hacking,..........it teaches you how to hack basic shit like wifi, websites, and networks.
I get that.......but in reality who is taking these courses? Are any of us being targeted like that. I watched that video in this thread and while their wifi pw was "hacked" (on purpose) Im pretty sure it was also easy. Top it off with the homeowner using the same pw on his Nest devices. They practixcally left the front door open. Not saying hacking dont exist, but we can all take steps to make it harder for them.

edit:....I forgot to mention that the wife fell for the phishing email also....

she helped them

you gotta be kidding me, THIS IS NEWS

bruh they BEEN DOING THIS SHIT WAAY BEFORE RING CAMERAS

RING CAMERAS JUST MADE SHIT EASIER....

I thought folks knew once you set these up, you are being watched from

muthafuckas all over the globe, they got sites, where, you can click on the city, town

you want, and view all the open unsecured wifi cams.. and this was in the early days of

home wifi networks..

Once you hear unfamiliar voices, unplug that shit, LIL man was SMART AS FUCK

to run out that room and NOT engage in conversation, that weirdo sick fuck, was hoping

to do something more sinister, but due to lil mans QUICK thinking and not engaging,

he most likely saved his life, youd be surprised how many children would

think they have a friend and start giving up all types of information... wondering why so many

children just end up missing... but chea, SMART LIL MAN THERE BRAVO TO HIM!!

and thats the price of having wi fi cameras, you give up a lot of privacy for that extra dose of security...

Its still worth it, if ya askin me, especially if you live in an area, where muthafuckas dont

respect private property... get them camera company they can trust, I remember ADT had an employee

that got busted spying on peoples camera for years... or this other company wyz or some shit.. that had a glitch

where strangers could exploit and watch customer home videos, like a fuckin TV and they just turnin channels...

so yea, make sure your security company has end to end encryption, dont buy cheap bullshit cameras cough cough

chinese knock offs cough cough..

use two factor authentication and make sure you get the latest patches...

and if you have children, teach em NOT to engage in any converstaion with weirdos

online... and to let you know right away.. sheeeet, thats for online and in public...

you shouldve had that conversation regardless..
