Might as well put a #45 jersey on him because Kornheiser is back!

Aaron Rodgers took 25 minutes Tuesday on “The Pat McAfee Show” to provide a longwinded response to Jimmy Kimmel, who threatened legal action after the New York Jets QB implied he would be included on the Epstein list and then opened Monday’s ABC late-night show with a monologue on Rodgers.

Included in Rodgers’ rant that dove into Epstein, COVID, the woke media and everything in between were jabs at ESPN executive Mike Foss, senior vice president of production.

Rodgers took issue with the statement from Foss on Jan. 5 that characterized the Jets QB’s claim about Kimmel as “dumb and factually inaccurate.”

On Tuesday, Rodgers called out Foss several times:

♦ “So I’d like to put this to bed and move forward. I don’t understand the Mike Foss comment because he didn’t help out either. I’m going to quote Mike Foss: ‘Aaron made a dumb and factually incorrect joke about Jimmy Kimmel. It should have never happened. We all realized that in the moment.’

♦ “Mike, you’re not helping, bro. You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said. So this is the game plan of the media. This is what they do. They try and cancel.”

♦ “Who actually watched the clip, and how many people just saw a headline? That’s really, I don’t think Mike Foss watched the clip.”

“All right, we would like to let you know, we’re excited for you to meet Foss in person,” McAfee said. “So Foss, right now, is sitting on an airplane watching this just sweating.”

Foss joined ESPN in 2017 from Fox Sports and USA TODAY, where he was the creator and managing editor of “For the Win.”

In his time at ESPN, per a press release, Foss launched ESPN’s YouTube channels and revamped the network’s digital strategy. Previously ESPN’s vice president of studio and digital production, Foss oversaw the content across its digital channels, including its streaming on social media. In June 2023, Foss began supervising “The Pat McAfee Show,” among other afternoon studio shows, and podcasts. He also manages “Get Up” and “First Take.”

Rodgers joked Jan. 2 that he would “pop some sort of bottle” once the list came out. “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, that are really hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said then.

On Tuesday, Rodgers said: “I still haven’t popped a bottle because there hasn’t been any list that’s come out, and I’m glad that Jimmy is not on the list. I really am.”

Epstein died by suicide in August 2021 at a Manhattan prison while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
