Is this any good?
Just like the Kelvin timeline is no longer relevant, the universe she's from is no longer canon to the main Star Trek universe due to recent changes.

I stopped watching Star Trek a while back because they were thieving hard. I might watch a couple of episodes to see what they tried to incorporate. Disney is another piece of shit company doing this failed strategy.

Once they commit their crimes, they try to personal attack you and you get entangled in their nonsense without even doing anything. Their guilty conscience gets the best of them. Another red flag is black lead characters they will put in their movies to provide racial cover.

Democrat shills will cosign this nonsense like Karen Bass, Kamala Harris, or Gavin Newsom human traffic you for some campaign donations. Some people just want to go down the hard road.

I don't want nothing to do with you, when you take my shit then I have to get involved with your retarded nonsense. Don't waste my time.

Star Trek: Section 31
2025

3.5/10

This flick debuted on Patamount+ last month and I watched it last night at home when passing thru Vegas.

This film did not play out like I was expecting. It was a complete mess and was not interesting at all. I was tempted to turn it off 40 minutes into it, but decided to stay with it, giving it the benefit of the doubt. It didn’t get better.

The premise was nothing original and has been done a shit load of times over the past 30 years in action/adventure films. Section 31 has been mentioned in previous Star Trek productions with little information on it. What little was presented always sparked my curiosity and I expect with others. I was expecting this film to be like a “Mission: Impossible”.

This film, instead of keeping it focused on what Sector 31 is, it went more for the “Cool and Hip” vibe which it fell flat with. It tried to copy the vibe of other films like “Smokin’ Aces” and “Suicide Squad”.

VFX/SFX was ok. A lot of sets and costumes looked like leftovers/rejects from “Star Trek: Discovery.

One thing that immediately stood out that caught my attention was the debut of an alien species from the classic ST:TOS “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield“.

I was under the impression that species was extinct and there were only two left. ST:TOS is supposed to be canon. I am aware that a twist was brought up in the final season of ST: Lower Decks involving the series Discovery. I haven’t looked into it at this time to see if it has anything to do with this series and this alien that debuted.

I did look into this series and found out it was originally scheduled to debut in 2020/2021. The pandemic delayed it and Paramount+ decided to put more attention towards ST: Strange New Worlds. Paramount+ decided to debut it as a movie instead.

This film did poorly with critics and viewers, if Paramount+ continues with it, hopefully they do a 180 and get serious with it.
