Each serie has been watchable, specifically for people--like me, who grew up on Star Wars. Each spin-off keeps the franchise alive. Be thankful.
Thank you Disney, thank you for having Leah and han divorced in the new trilogy! Thank you for making Luke Skywalker a coward hermit who gave up on his own nephew for...reasons, when he didn't give up on his father who was basically space hitler. Thank you for never having the original trio reunite on film, thank you for undoing the victory in Jedi and making boba Fett a fat soft nomad who gets as much respect as Rodney Dangerfield, thanks for making his Asian sidekick the star of his show. Thank you for taking your one good show The Mandalorian and destroying the season 2 finale by immediately reuniting grogu and din(on a different show btw) and for making season 3 all about bo katan, Thanks for making the force female, and for giving us a sad sap obi wan who wasn't training or connected to the force when his one job was to protect Luke Skywalker, thanks for space witches and definitely thanks for rey!
And no need to talk about how boring pointless and poorly written this series was, the character choices, the reactions to certain scenarios, the character progression(or lack thereof) it was one of the worst shows I've seen with such a high Budget.... the dialogue, Laughable.
Outside of a few lines from Mandalorian that got memed the writing for star wars is now a joke, say what you will about Lucas and his writing bit he wrote lines that lasted for decades, This shit is already forgotten.
I don't understand how someone who grew up watching star wars can be okay with the ideas being shit out by Disney, the retconning of Lucas's ideas and the destruction of the OT characters. What they've done to luke especially can only be looked at as an embarrassment.
