This is the first series that I've had an issue with DVRing or watching OD. :dunno:
I'd missed the beginning of the last episode and it wasn't airing again for another 2hrs so I went to watch the recording...nada, OD...only the first three episodes available.
should be able to watch it on HBO now. Every subscriber has access to it.

When did ol girl get scratched?
:dunno: Good question. I was wondering if it was from ole boy who he cloned himself after when they went to help him out from under the rock. It may have been a last chance thing to use him while he was still in his head or something.

It couldn't have been from the two ghosts/spirits on the way out. I'm not sure, but it is Stephen King, so...

Not a exciting ending.

If there is a season 2, hopefully it will be better and give more explanation on the events of season one.
We'll be waiting on book 2.

Sure it's horror,a murder mystery and haunting. But at it's core is heart and tons of raw emotion about loss and mourning.

Really enjoyed this. Also agreed on all the comparisons to True Detective Season 1. The slow burn, the phenomenal acting, the palpable tension. Glad I waited to binge it.

I watched it - liked parts - fast-forwarded through quite a bit and realized that this is the type of Stephen King book, movies used to do so well and that Stephen King book fans used to complain about. Stephen King's movies would film all of the highlights that made the movies move forward from action to action with brief expositions along the way. The books would veer off to all sorts of places and plotlines and stories that made for good reading but would weigh down a movie.
Re-edited to a 2.5-hour movie this would work, the whole plotline of the wife of Jason Bateman could be cut because it added nothing, for example.

Was that Cuco who was sitting in church in one of the last episodes? The black girl went inside to sit next to him and said something like “I figured you’d be here.”

I finally watched IT part 2 and got a good laugh at how the characters keep saying the writer character's books all have suckass endings . King is aware of his crappy endings, but damn, why not write...better endings ?
For what it's worth, the shootout's brutality made the finale not totally a letdown for me. That was well done.
The series altogether I liked A LOT minus maybe one filler episode.
I feel bad though for the Latina chick in prison in NYC....they know she's innocent, but it's like fuck it.
