The rapper is missing a few million dollars, and the feds believe his manager stole it.
(AllHipHop News) Tekashi 6ix9ine has some serious legal challenges, and now his financial issues are becoming just as bad.
The Brooklyn rapper was arrested last weekend, and charged with racketeering, drug dealing, and firearm violations.
In addition to 6ix9ine, has former manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan, Faheem "Crippy" Walker, Jensel "Ish" Butler and Jamel "Mel Murda" Jones were all hit with the same charges for a string of violent incidents as members of the 9 Trey Gangster Bloods.
Now, 6ix9ine's money troubles could pose a serious issue to defend himself.
During court appearances last week, Crippy, Ish and Mel Murda, whom police say is the leader of the 9 Trey's, all admitted they could not afford lawyers and sought public defenders.
As for Shotti, had about $60,000 in his bank, but he is accused stashing another $2.2 million somewhere, which were proceeds that were supposed to be from shows booked for 6ix9ine.
Although they are broke, 6ix9ine believed Crippy, Ish and Mel Murda were in on the conspiracy to jerk him out of his money, but it turns out police believe Shotti was the culprit.
The rapper ended up firing his entire team and accusing his old booking agency MTA of stealing the money, but the company adamantly denied the allegations and threatened to sue the embattled rap star.
Tekashi is currently facing a minimum of 32 years in prison, was allegedly assaulted over the weekend at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, while was being housed in general population.
The rapper was recently transferred to a prison where cooperating witnesses are housed.
According to the FBI, Mel Murda was caught on a wiretap ordering associates to "super violate" 6ix9ine over his theft allegations.
