I hope that's not the case. The Chi was the one Lena Waithe project that featured regular men, that you can relate to. The guys on her other shows on BET are on some other shit She's got bisexual guys, down-low guys, simps fantasizing about being pegged, coons, and guys who love Jesus more than women. I chalked it up to those shows being aimed at a younger crowd and maybe I'm too old for them, but I could relate to the men and boys from the Chi. I've had those foul-mouthed conversations at the lunch table like Papa & Jake and I've hung around plenty of Brandons and Reggies and even Brandon's stepdad.

here was plenty of controversy over the show and many were curious after the complaints from someone on the set about some of actions of actor Jason Mitchell. Things were quiet and then we got interviews from Jason Mitchell and Leana Waithe which had at times contrary stories, but I am glad to see that it is back.
Unfortunately we will have to wait until July for the show to return to television but I'll be in line awaiting the return and to see how things will play out.

Welp, here we go, it's 2 episodes in and they're already laying on the gay feminist shit kinda heavy.
