I caught up and fin this show back in March.
People blew it off saying it don’t make sense and is impossible.
But if you watch the show and get the info on how Gilead was formed, events today is playing out like the show.
These crazy, right wing, religious nuts are using the economy, pandemic and protests to boost their agenda right now.
And there have been mofos who believe in that Gilead shit silently announcing their bids for local, state and federal govt positions.
The Handmaid's Tale: Season 4 Teaser
Let freedom reign. The Handmaid’s Tale, the 15x Emmy-winning series, returns for Season 4 on April 28, 2021, only on Hulu.
About Season 4: The cultural phenomenon picks up where we left off, with June’s fight for freedom against Gilead. But the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges, and her desire for justice and revenge threaten to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships.
Binged Season 4's episodes that have come out this afternoon.
June has finally made it out of Gilead, but she is suffering from severe PTSD and her daughter Hannah is still in Gilead.
3 episodes left for the season and it has been renewed for a Season 5.
I've been watching it week by week. The most recent was the best yet IMO. Love the change of scenery and the new relationships being explored, not the same old shit like last season.
Did June rape Luke?

Did June rape Luke?
I think it was more of her going thru PTSD over the years with all the sexual dysfunction in Gilead.
Luke tried earlier to get with her and she pulled away and he respected her cuz he knew what she had been thru.
I looked it up and the book ended with June being taken away and it was left up in the air if she made it too safety or not. The book ended about 100 years in the future with historians reading June’s notes on her experience.
The author wrote a sequel back in 2018. Have not looked into yet to avoid any spoilers. Not sure if the series is going to follow the sequel novel.
My theory is June will return to Gilead and rescue Hannah, but make the decision to stay being she is all fucked up in the head.
I told my wife this, "are they trying to make this white bitch, some type of Harriet Tubman character."my theory is that june is written to become some type of harriet tubman character.
It’s gonna be next to impossible to try what she did with those kids for a second time.
Everybody in Gilead knows who she is and what she did. They catch her again, she going straight to the Wall with a noose around her neck. No trial or anything.
The only way she can be successful is getting Aunt Lydia on her side. It looks like Julia might have woken her up when they were in the prison.
Aunt Lydia is in high standing amongst the Commanders. She got a lot of pull and inside information that could work in Julia’s benefit.
my theory is that june is written to become some type of harriet tubman character.

If they want to keep the series somewhat realistic, the Canadian politicians would not allow her to do that.
and do you think that the union sanctioned tubman's actions?
or that the canadian gov't sanctioned tubman's actions?
Back then the South did not have nuclear weapons that could devastate the north if they were to go to war.
I'd give season 3 an F right now but there's still a quarter season to go, so hopefully they salvage it in some way.
Do you know who Harriet Tubman is and what she did?
Yeah, she was the first to open a KFC in the South.
What kind of stupid question is that?
They are not gonna make her a “Harriet Tubman” character. Gilead as backward as they are are heavily equipped. It’s been stated in the show they have a strong and secure military. It’s why other nations have not made a move against them and have only done economic sanctions on them.
If you paid attention when June was on the boat. The crew was pissed off when they found out who she was. Her presence on that boat would completely fucked up what negotiations Canada and Gilead had in order to do the relief work they were doing.
The show has not gone into how technically and advanced Gilead is because it is not the focus of the show. It’s obvious they are by the techniques that June had to use to get out.
If you like this show, check out Man in the High Castle on Amazon prime. Same dystopian but realistic future.
The last season annoyed me, half of each episode was a camera zoom into the chic's face.I'm about to jump into that series
finally up to date with the handmaids tale binged on it for the past couple weeks. fantastic show
I'll post my thoughts later
I thought I was the only one that hated that shot. I just wish she end up on the wall, way too may people have died fucking with her.The last season annoyed me, half of each episode was a camera zoom into the chic's face.
I can not relate emotionally to the lives of white people;
I therefore do not indulge their fictions... For this
reason, I rarely watch TV or movies. I do read history
of all people religiously, because it is true...
