IMO, McKid got out coached and Goff was lost, wasn't ready for the moment. He looked like a straight rookie. McKid was coaching like Jay Gruden at times, got pass happy and didn't use the two headed monster at RB. He should have used both of Gurley and Anderson. It Goff would have threw the ball when dude put his hand up at the 7 or 5 yard line that was a TD. But again he wasn't in sync all game. Both defenses did their jobs, made stops when needed, but eventually the Rams D was going to get tired or slip up because the offense wasn't capitalizing on the ops they had. Hate NE, but they did what needed to done to win another Chip.

Yeah they mostly abandoned the run with McVeigh trying to make Goff a star. CJ Anderson had some good runs and Gurley had a couple but they immediately go back to Goff trying to make passes. I’m a hardcore football so games like that are exciting to me because I know at any time any team can win, especially when it was that close in the 4th quarter
