I swear it would be just like Philly for Joel to win MVP & the team gets beat in the 1st round. Full Dirk-mode.
The standings are still moving and I'm all in for the play-in tournament chaos, but it's really starting to look like we're getting either Toronto or Brooklyn in the 1st round. And I don't think we necessarily want either of those problems.

NBA isn’t going to allow BK to lose that play-in game.

But those play-in spots are still fluid. BK ain’t been playing good basketball. I think it’s wild to hear people speak of BK being in the playoffs when they potentially have to win two games to get there, depending on where they place at the end of the season. I’m not 100% convinced they can do it. I know they probably will, but I’m not all the way convinced.

Media awfully quiet about that along with the Celtics unvaccinated players (Brown/Hortford) who also have a chance of not playing the Raptors.

Had it been the Nets in that situation, that's all they would talk about.

He must really be hurt to give up on the scoring title. He really wanted to be the oldest to get one.

Dude wants to check the boxes.

I didn't understand why he was playing high minutes just to miss the next game or two after

Every team had injuries
Derozan and Levine are playing

Ball, Caruso, Patrick Williams missed a big chunk of the season

Plus LeVine has been playing hurt and has missed games trying to manage his knee

Can't really compare their injuries or Cleveland's, Clippers and Denver's to other teams.

They're getting blown out by the hornets who play no defense.

@largebillsonlyplease - What path is better for the Warriors?

I think the Grizzles would love nothing more than to eliminate Golden State from the playoffs. They still ain't forgot about the Iggy situation from a few years back. And while I don't think they will go all the way this year, they're still my pick for most likely bracket buster. Memphis is young, hungry, and seem likely to surprise the world by knocking out someone's favorite team early and upsetting the whole balance of the playoffs.

And without Steph, I don't think GS wants to see them. They probably don't want to see the Suns either, but losing to the reigning WCF champs wouldn't be as shocking as losing to Memphis.

I really don't think anyone fears Utah. Rudy (2x DPOY   ) is lunch meat to these young guards.
Honestly don't think most team fear Denver either. They might not want to see Joker, but as a whole the Nuggets don't inspire much fear in the top teams.

Interesting that you focus on the first round match up in your response... I was hoping the Jazz would be the 6th seed for that reason.

A compelling argument for Nugs/Griz is Morant is more likely to be questionable sooner whereas later matchups with the Suns increase the likelihood of Paul being out. To me, that's not saying you need someone to be injured to win or that you fear them, it's just being smart and seeking the path of least resistance.

I don't really know the Grizzlies though and one podcast I listened to (the Light Years Ahead podcast I think, I forget) compared them to the old OKC team as a matchup problem for Golden State, which is scary.

Every team will be tough. Grizzlies aren't a matchup problem so much as for whatever reason they think we're in a rivalry

So they play every game against us like it's their last and then will go out there and lose to okc after lol

I honestly am not tripping only because we've got to play whoever is in front of us. So just bring the energy and try to get a championship

See what I mean
They upset at Iggy and have a non-existent chip on their shoulders toward us
How about worry about everyone else and then we'll cross paths when we do.

The sun's are a really good team so I will never disrespect them

I think we match up good. I think we've demonstrated that.

My squad done too Jack. We either playing Dallas or Golden State. We cooked
I'm a realist. I don't cap for my squad. I tell the truth. Glenn is a horrible coach. Dis nigga is gonna continue to put washed up scumbags like Danny Green and DeAndre Jordan in games instead of playing Isaiah Joe and Paul Reed. He's a fuckin piece of dog filth as a coach but thinks he's the greatest in the world. Can't make adjustments for shit and Nick Nurse will run circles around him. :smh:
