The DPOY award has been trash to me since Rudy won it multiple times. How can the DPOY fail to inspire fear in people who are two inches shorter than him? No guard in the league fears Rudy. They actively head hunt him, put him in ice-skates, or blow by him like he's walking backwards in slow motion.

And yet 20 years from now he'll be inducted into the HOF with a highlight packet that talks about him being a 3x DYOP and a powerhouse on the defensive end.
