{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

I don't understand, why people are so quick to put a label on a player, especially a young one. Ja will be entering his fourth year next season but since he doesn't shoot the ball lights out like Steph;folks say he can't shoot. This is,why I miss the old days because players back then were allowed to get better without everyone bringing it all the time. They act like he's Ben Simmons or somebody.
This is the social media hot take era now so I think that's why.

Fuck that big bitch Durant. Let him go ride another loaded team. Big bitch can't do shit on his own. Him and Kyrie belong together getting swept. Big bitch KD making his GS rings look like costume jewelry. Had it not been for injuries, GS wouldn't have missed a beat without the big bitch.
Yup. Been saying this

If the warriors just make it to the Finals this year those rings gonna look like they came out the gumball machine the way ESPN and the other networks gonna start talking shit about him

These are the same networks that said Curry was washed and Harden and Embiid are the next Kobe and Shaq....

Their takes change every hour... Lol

But as you can see from the comments on social media, on here and even with guys you talk about sports with in real life they watch those networks and then repeat everything they heard,

I've been wondering why hasn't there been any talk of Nash being on the hot seat or the coaching job he's doing

The blame that would normally go to the coach, is going to KD, Ben Simmons and Kyrie. It's unusual.

^^^^

That is why I'm surprised Bo is out here defending him.

Cause to be fair?

Stephen A. Called out this bullsh*t hire from day one

I could see why y'all root for the Nets to fail. Here we are in the middle of the defending Champs playing a great first half and the first thing they want to talk about is Celtics/Nets game. It's extremely tone deaf and nauseating at this point

The spotlight ain’t leaving your squad anytime soon. They’re going to be talked about for a while.

Lakers season is over. So they had to talk about the other mega team that was supposed to win it all, but is actually dumpster juice. Steven A and the rest of em didnt even discuss the fucking Bucks game at all.

The expectations were so high for the Lakers and Nets. I wasn’t sold on either team all season.

But to watch all if unfold to where we are at now is a sight to see.

Kyrie is an unreliable and he doesn’t see it at all. And if he does see it, then he certainly doesn’t give a fuck how it effects his teammates and the team chemistry.

Yeah,I remember a time people were calling the Cavs stupid for trading him even though he threatened to have surgery at the beginning of the season(Lebron's last season). It's crazy is that with all the winning here it felt like it wasn't good enough for him.

They built the Nets up so much with that “the most dynamic duo to ever play“ line that all the networks kept repeating over and over now they having to backtrack and try to change it up so they can say they saw this coming

This is like how they talk about the Cowgirls and whatever team Brady is on

@dik cashmere

As a nets fan I trust..

Opinion on this tweet from Bo?

Neither one of them wanted Nash. That was directly the gm’s pick. It doesn’t matter how many superstars you have on one team, if he can’t make adjustments or know when to put a player in or out of the game it’ll never work. Griffin did well in the short minutes he played yesterday. You brought him and Aldridge in for their veteran leadership and playoff experience and this goofball has them on dnp-cd all series. Let Nash go coach in the big 3 not a team of this caliber

In order for these reporters to have access to these organizations they have to stay in good graces with GM's. A bad coaching hire ultimately falls on the GM so to call for a coach's job publicly is to say that GM isn't doing a good job at theirs publicly.

For some major reporters to say Nash deserves to be fired, it's probably a result of the GM saying to some reporters he won't be returning. Like they did with Vogel.

Never seen a defending champion get disrespected in my life.....

It's just weird to me

I really think it's because he's white and everyone loved Nash as a player, so he's getting a longer leash with the press than the average coach would get

Shit, look at Udoka at the beginning of the year. Dude was like two months in and they put that out there that it possibly was a bad hire by Stevens.

Ok let's dissect this...

Cause that very first part?

Goes against EVERYTHING EVERYONE been saying since day one.

We were ALL lead to believe especially after Kyrie comments that THIS WAS THE COACH THEY WANTED AND CHOSE.

And that THEY did not want the previous coach... Kenny Atkinson?

Who if I remember was/is a damn good coach.

So you SURE what you saying is accurate?

And that some revisionist history?

Cause I honestly don't know.

I'm asking.
