and went to a 73 win team.

That man ain't NEVER gonna win that argument is he?

Add that he was unable to make it work with Westbrook?

And that he never pulled an Iverson, Lebron dragging a bad team all the way to the finals?

I could keep going.

I still feel like people piling on

Sidebar: I predicted this would happen. Remember when KD took that public shot about Lebron going to the Heat back in the day?

When I saw his subsequent Twitter behavior and how he didn't learn anything from that, I knew he was gonna get that work one day and really feel like its really like to be in lebron sized spotlight.

Basketball isn’t for him. It’s over.

If you can’t find solstice in the game of basketball, then he needs to quite.

All mental health experts would suggest exercise or sports as an outlet to help improve mental health.

Exactly. There's no way he loves the game of basketball in my opinion. He gets paid to do what most of us do for free when we need to just find peace in our everyday lives. That's wild to me.

Is that really comparable
Exact? NO.

Comparable? YES!

Chuck entered with a team that essentially won 70 games and added a MVP. Then chased a ring himself by joining an already champion.

Chuck is vested in undermining the accomplishments of these guys because he feels it validates his lack of rings. He does it to the point of saying outright silly shit. He argued Kenny that Steph was the best player on them GSW teams and not KD. Utter clown shit.

No, he’ll never get that from folks.

Just had this same discussion with wifey.

She wants people ease up on KD. I’ll you the same as I told her. He’s a superstar and by DEFAULT he will carry the burden of leadership. All moves and decisions will be criticized and it may not seem fair at times.

From a business standpoint, I see why he went to GS. But from a competitive standpoint, it’s not something I agree with.

I cannot argue against that.

Because your making a legit logic argument

Star trek rules

We cannot impose OUR OWN IDEALS onto another foreign independent culture

Pro sports and basketball have their own rules

This all comes with that

And people gotta be real careful defending KD

Lebron Curry did not get a pass

In lebron case since HIGH SCHOOL he was getting this pressure

Look at all the petty childish reactions of kd and kyrie

I'm not saying they can't act like that or even wrong.

But in comparison?

Most of their issues with the public or self afflicted not all though.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown

And do not like how these dudes want all the spoils but none of the headaches.

I saw a report that Ben Simmons said he was still working on his mental health issues, so it wasn't his back that was hurt
Not at all. The reality is Rich Paul told him to do this shit. All so he can get his money from the Sixers. He's following Rich orders. All this shit will eventually come out. I been said this. In the end he's gonna screw the players with his bullshit and the next CBA gonna be hell. I wouldn't be surprised if dude never played in the league again. Like Charles said, when you don't have respect from fans that's one thing. But when you don't have respect from your peers in the league.......forget being liked.........but not even respected? It's gonna be hard for any teammate to cape for him ever again. They'd look like a fuckin fool. Bitch Simmons maybe done in the NBA. Nevermind what he can do. If you don't have heart, will and determination your talents and what you are physically capable of are worthless.

Right. You can’t want to be the man, then not want to be the man when you fail. That’s the price of leadership.

Generals got decapitated for losing wars. Granted, we aren’t as barbaric today, but hopefully you get my point.

Once KD decided to go to BK, he took on that same responsibility Bron, Curry, Barkley, Reggie, Dominique, and etc all had to do. And the media had been REAL kind to KD since he’s been in the league.

This time, the stage was different. The organization isn’t consistent nor is the coach and staff. Then you have Kyrie and Harden egos on the team. Then the pandemic.

And with all that, the media is still going to look at KD and what he didn’t do because he legit got swept and played shitty in the process. He’s got to hold this L.

But he ain’t going to hold that L without pettiness and I’m 100% ok with that.
