I honestly don't know if Morey should blow the team up. I called for him to gut both Embiid and Simmons after the last two playoff exits. I thought the process could/should have died with Kawhi's shot or Bengaroo Jack show of bitchassness.

At this point it feels like they're in too deep and the rest of the East have caught up and surpassed the Sixers. They'd be crazy to let Embiid walk and I think he genuinely likes playing in Philly. Which means he might not win a chip.

He should have won MVP this year. Just look at games 1 & 2 in Miami vs. 3 & 4 when Embiid was back in the lineup. Look at those night and day performances and tell me Embiid isn't the most 'valuable' player to his team.

We might just be one of those teams that regular season good. A solid 50 - 60 wins team that you still shouldn't expect much from in the playoffs. The Jazz or Portland of the East.

At least with Ben technically on the team they still would’ve had Seth and Drummond and they could’ve added something.

His rotations are infuriating. There is no way DJ can see double digit minutes in the playoffs.
I'd expect a rookie coach to be able to see that.

As for the supermax, I'm not too concerned.
I'm more concerned about how those contracts will change in the new CBA deal. I expect a big shift in the numbers in the way of the owners. And shorter contracts overall. Supermax contracts and super teams are done and it's for the better. Look at GS, MEM, PHX, MIL. All they teams built through the draft and they're futures are looking bright. After all the Harden/Simmons fuckery, the owners ain't gonna be trying to build through trusting star players to honor contracts.

I dont want to speak for Jack but i think it was more about the WAY it happened...showing no heart...Philly is one of the "toughest" blue collar cities in the world and the fans expect their teams to put for some effort..you got these players out here making millions of dollars and the only people showing any heart was the young players(Maxey and Milton)..Embiid was trying but he could only do so much
