The Clippers are almost finished with their arena ready to play in 2024...

The Kings were primed and ready for the move... Now they stuck in a 35 year lease ...
That Clippers arena is in Englewood right?

But he is on steph and LBJ level though. There are different ways to lead a team. Again he went to finals with OKC and almost did another time. OKC is more to blame because they didn't wanna pay no one and their medical staff almost cost KD and Russ careers. So while he fucked himself with the Nets situation; he still top 5 player in the league and that doesn't mean he's not on their level...
i agree he's a top 5 player. he's just not a good team leader imo....like lebron or steph. needless to say they have been in better situations... better management . but they have made numerous players better. this nets team i think he felt was his opportunity to do that. he might wouldn't win a championship but i think he could have done a better job of being a leader pretty much had the team and city in his hands if he'd went back to okc.

I agree with everything except going back to OKC; he was never gonna go back there and frankly not should he…

Nets' Kyrie Irving talks about being uncomfortable behind LBJ, KD

Kyrie Irving is returning to the Brooklyn Nets this season after not seeing eye-to-eye with management earlier this summer, and the star just opened up on how “uncomfortable” it can be to play behind icons like LeBron James and teammate Kevin Durant.

In a preview for the upcoming Uninterrupted show ‘The Shop’, Irving took a seat alongside renowned actors, entrepreneurs and other celebrities, including Idris Elba and Drew Barrymore.
“Playing with ‘Bron and playing with KD, within our culture they are true icons, but I had to fill in those shoes that were very uncomfortable for me,” Irving said.
Irving also discussed his artistic vision on the court.
“The tool I chose to use as my paintbrush is my basketball. When I describe myself as an artist it gives me an opportunity to do whatever I want.”

Bill Simmons doubts Nets guard Kyrie Irving is still an NBA superstar

Even though relations between the Brooklyn Nets and guard Kyrie Irving are much improved going into the season, some analysts still have their doubts about him and want to discuss his position amongst the athletes in the NBA.

Sports analyst Bill Simmons discussed the situation on his podcast, where he inferred that Irving is not currently a superstar-caliber player in this league.

Simmons stated:

People seem to think he’s a superstar. Look- he made one of the biggest shot in the history of the finals in 2016. In a game that was a rock fight, nobody was making anything and then he makes his three. He’s great in 2017, that Cavs team was incredible offensively, but that was five years ago, 2017. People are judging hiim now based on Twitter clips and YouTube clips and some other highlights versus what he was, which was they got swept. He was healthy, he played, he had no injuries. He was 100 percent healthy. When you’re talking about you’re top three’s and you just go through Brooklyn, KD, 34, who is still one of the best five plaeyrs in this league, but then you have Kyrie who has just not proven he’s a reliable regular season or the same, kind of, elite playoff performer.

I seriously think Kyrie gonna act right this season.

When he is ON and I know its been awhile

but when he is ON?

Kyrie is one of the best in the league.

it’s a very long season in a tough east. And he still injury prone. But I hope he does well. I’m not rooting against. He just doesn’t surprise me with his decisions

Your 100%

My HOPE and you know I am far from a Kyrie supporter off the court and in the locker-room

is that the time off and no vaccine talk playing for a new contract

Kyrie really has no excuses.

If he goes out of his way AGAIN to start some unnecessary drama?

which is still highly likely

OK now we done done

but I think its a fresh start

I don't like how the media has been going EXTRA on him and giving so many other athletes complete passes for MUCH more serious transgressions.

I actually want the Nets to do well this year.
