@dik cashmere

Sassy keeps INSISTING D Mitchell WANTED to be a Knick.

Which is interesting

So did Ainge do this to spite Donovan?

Ainge never was going to let him go to NY?

I think the Snickers misjudged their hand :dunno:

They overestimated their hand, and tried to play hardball with the Barrett news leaking thinking Ainge would fold and except whatever they offered instead of being left with Mitchell for another year or until the trade deadline

Most in the media thought it was just the Snickers, Miami didn't have enough (@therealjondoe ) and some rumors of Atlanta and Cleveland being interested

He should get enough shots. Utah is going to look like Houston last season.

I wonder if they're keeping Clarkson

Conley has two years left, I'd want a buyout for somewhere he can come off the bench like Milwaukee, but he's making $20 something mil and I doubt Utah would give him a good buyout

Then, people are going to say he has empty stats even though he's not a volume shooter.. He's ball-dominated but Sexton never been a volume shooter.

His scoring and assists should go up since he will have a better team around him than he had in his first three years of his career. Before, last season the Cavs never had good shooters around him.

What good team will he have in Utah?

They're tanking

They'll probably get rid of Clarkson and the euro.

You still defending him with Cav narratives. This is a new start for him. Let the season play out then we can see how he is used in their system. They wouldnt have paid him $70+ million guaranteed not to use or feature him.

based on what we have read in this thread that was offered?

The knicks did not over play their hand

Ainge just didn't want him on the Knicks

and I am the strongest knick critic on here.

You're probably right but Im glad he's outta of here so he won't have to deal with this bullshit city that never liked him. Hopefully,he plays well this season.

It's unfortunate he had to go to the Jazz. I hate that fucking team..
