CC was doing that shit all year... Media was showing it in Promos for games... It became her signature celebration....

Oh ok, I know the highlights used to show her talking trash and they showed that clip of her waving Raven Johnson off from South Carolina 20 times but then when Angel Reese taunted her after the championship all of a sudden Caitlin Clark is victim who is all class and plays basketball the right way. Jondoe post pics all the time of her with her tongue out when she played for Iowa and the Fever but I guess they don't see those

That the reason Caitlin has the scoring record and scoring record is, the number of 3’s that Caitlin shot and made.
Yes the game has changed but other players were doing the scoring with far less 3’s taken and made than Caitlin.
No hate because I like Caitlin, but when you crunch the numbers you see what it is.

Yeah JuJu's definitely getting lots of hype, JuJu's hype's different than Caitlin's though.
Of course it's different. CC, while cold af, is still going to be white hoops savior regardless. Juju is another goat candidate for us.
I'm not talking about the white savior aspect. I'm talking about Caitlin was fun to watch so the hype was "Hey check this girl who can shoot like Steph out".
JuJu's a good player, can score and is very talented. But the feeling of "Hey y'all gotta watch her play" just isn't there.
In my opinion.
I will admit that JuJu has crossed over to the casual fan because my Mom last year was looking forward to watching Caitlin.
And the other day she said "What time's JuJu playing"?
I'm not white and I'm not interested in watching any white savior, I watch Caitlin and the Fever because they're a fun team to watch. Just like it was fun to watch Caitlin with Iowa.
