I just read an article that broke it down. The WNBA CBA expires in October. She can go back another year and maximizes her NIL money. And then enter the league a year later, which should offer higher rookie salaries with the new agreement. Actually a smart move as long as she doesn't get injured.

I saw an interview where they were talking about with the new CBA rookies could be making between 150k-200k a year.
