You're not defending the white girl, you're defending against stupidity and people who are wrong.
Which is what I had to do earlier in the Caitlin Clark thread. It's not about defending Caitlin, it's about correcting people who are blatantly wrong.
I watched the WNBA before Caitlin, there were some years that I didn't watch as much but the past couple of years I tuned in.
And I'd be lying to everyone if I said that the general public gave a shit about the WNBA before Caitlin was drafted.

Washington Mystics owner Sheila Johnson went on a bizarre Caitlin Clark-related rant during a recent media appearance, taking unprovoked shots at the Indiana Fever star multiple times.
They still don't care about the "WNBA", the new people who just started watching only care about seeing Caitlin Clark. Like the comment right above says some teams are moving to bigger arenas when Caitlin Clark comes to town, the next game they are right back at their regular spot with their regular crowd.

Yeah she was buggin but she did say the draft of players like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese before saying it was more than one player. One of her comments she said the TIME should have made the WNBA as a whole on their cover goes back to what I said above people don't care about the WNBA only Caitlin Clark
