Maybe another vet in the secondary. Someone who can put our youngin secondary in the right spots. Especially when we can't generate any pass rush.

I don't want to hear Fox talk. I really want him gone. Never liked his conservative ways and he crossed the line on Saturday. I would have NEVER put the game in my defense hand at the end if they have shown me that they have not been effective in stopping the offense the entire game. If I have PEYTON FREAKING MANNING, i'm going for the 1st on 3 and 7 to ice the game or at least trying to get into FG range at the end of the game. He even was conservative at the end of the half.

He coached not to lose instead of coaching to win the game. I'm done with this dude.

I like Fox but him being conservative annoys the hell out of me...Elway was at the presser agreeing with him but I suspect he's going to talk to Fox about it because I know Elway wouldnt take a knee in that situation...

I hope we give Jeremiah Johnson a chance next season, because we need a running back who can block, its probably the reason why we ran the ball on 3rd down late in the quarter because of Hillmna's inability to block....I really like Hillman but he's too small to block anybody....

We need a DT that can put alot pressure in the middle,we drafted Wolfe for this very reason but he's been playing great at DE..

I telling you now,I think Wolfe is going to have a break out season...He missed the OTA's and minicamp due to a rule that student who are graduating cant be at minicamp...

He played very good this season....

I know they're overreacting but dayum, you would think they would of looked at the stats or eye test saying we played very well in pass defense..

Unless, there is something we dont know,I dont understand it...:smh::smh::smh:

They hired Cory Undlin as the new DB's coach...he's from Jacksonville so I dont know how good the Jaguars pass defense were with him...

It looks like Fox wants Whizenhunt as the OC,but he wont be allowed to install his offense....which makes no fucking sense at all...:hmm:

His conservative game management is causing a lot of changes. When being so damn conservative is the only thing that should change. But Denver knew who the were getting when they hired him. :smh:

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- When Adam Gase was announced as the team's new offensive coordinator, Head Coach John Fox acknowledged the importance of offensive continuity in that decision.

Gase echoed that sentiment in his first media availability at his new position.

"It really helps because when you walk in that meeting room, you’re not starting over," Gase said. "You’re really off and running right from the get-go, whenever we start up in April.”

And Gase plans to get off-and-running in a hurry.

In fact, tempo is a big part of what Gase said he'll bring to the offense as the play-caller.

"We're looking to go pedal to the metal, play as fast as possible, be aggressive and score as many points as possible every game," he said. "Put (quarterback) Peyton Manning in a position to play as fast as he can play.”

Gase, like his predecessor Mike McCoy, said his offensive philosophy revolves around putting players in the best position to succeed.

He wants the offense to dictate what the defense does rather than react to it.

Those philosophies have been built over nine NFL seasons, and even before that in the college ranks as a defensive graduate assistant under Head Coach Nick Saban at LSU.

With the Broncos, Gase said he's grateful to be around other experienced coaches.

“I feel fortunate to be able to be around the coaches that we have on this staff, and fortunate to be around the players that we have," Gase said. "I don’t think every coach in this league can sit there and go, ‘I love every guy on this roster,’ but we have a different group of guys, especially on the offensive side. I’m just glad that I’m in this organization.”

Gase said he plans to work with Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and Fox to add another coach to the staff, who will step in at Gase's previous job -- quarterbacks coach.

Early Thursday, Fox called Gase a "bright coach with a great future."

Gase said he plans to take his new role and run with it.

“I absolutely think I’m ready and I’m not nervous about calling plays," Gase said, noting that McCoy gave him a few series of play-calling duties toward the end of the 2012 season. "You have one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time as your quarterback – I’m excited. I’m thrilled to be able to have that opportunity."

Now entering its second year with quarterback Peyton Manning at the helm, the Broncos offense expects to play even faster this season.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Last season, the Broncos offense ran 1,090 plays – the highest number since 2000.

Next season, that number could go even higher.
When Adam Gase was promoted to offensive coordinator, he said that his offense would play even faster than last year’s.
"We're looking to go pedal to the metal, play as fast as possible, be aggressive and score as many points as possible every game," he said. "Put (quarterback) Peyton Manning in a position to play as fast as he can play.”

Manning and the rest of the offense will be in a better position to play at a higher tempo having one year in the system under their belts.
Last year, everyone on offense was learning on the go with an offensive playbook that was overhauled when Manning joined the team as a free agent.

Heading into 2013, Manning is another year removed from his neck surgeries that forced him to miss the 2011 season, and he has 16 regular-season games plus one postseason contest worth of experience with his teammates.

“I think he’ll be better,” Head Coach John Fox said about Manning. “I think we’ll be better as a football team. What people don’t realize is last year really was our first year in an offense.”

With an entire offseason to build around Manning at quarterback, Gase and the rest of the offensive staff will continue expanding on the playbook that led Denver to rank second in the league in scoring.

“You can do more,” Fox said. “You don’t put it all in at once, because guys can’t learn it. You have to pick and choose things you have a comfort level with and then execute those things. Part of that is just knowing your players and the players knowing your coaches. It takes time. So I think year two will be a lot better than year one.”

The team added wide receiver Wes Welker, who was a key cog in New England’s first-ranked scoring offense, to the receiving corps during free agency. The five-time Pro Bowler played in a New England offense that led the league with 1,191 plays from scrimmage in 2012, so he is comfortable with playing at a fast tempo.

“I’m looking forward to being a Denver Bronco and really trying to help this team win,” Welker said at his introductory press conference. “Getting to play with Peyton and a good group of receivers and a good offense, I’m definitely looking forward to it.”

Welker and guard Louis Vasquez, who the Broncos also added as a free agent, both played college football at Texas Tech, which is known for its up-tempo offense.
That experience has already helped Welker in his NFL career, and Vasquez said it will do the same as he joins the Broncos system.
“It’s in my roots,” he said. “It’s like riding a bike—once you learn how to do it…”

When the Broncos play at home, they have the mile-high altitude as an advantage over the visiting team. When the offense is running an up-tempo, no-huddle attack, that limits the defense’s ability to substitute or even catch its collective breath between plays.

“You try to get into the perfect play all the time,” Fox said. “Sometimes you take longer. Sometimes you just need to run or pass, just run it quickly and that’s when defenses screw up.”

I hope they fix the offensive line, because we got beat many times tonight..

I dont know what to make with Oz progression since the line was bad...but he made some mistakes though...

Lance Ball better look out, because CJ Anderson played very well tonight...but CJ needs to work on his blocking and receiving though...

Duke Ihenacho was all over the field tonight,he might challenge Mike Adams for the SS spot...

Shaun Philips made some plays also...
