All I know we need to get some DT's that can get to the quarterback ...I have a feeling we're going to see Brady and Schaub again in the playoffs

The whole team showed up and showed OUT!

Trindon Holliday is a quick dude man. He's on the verge to busting a return for a td.

4-3. Now it's all about beating the teams that you are supposed to beat.

Hillman did a great job filling in for McGahee last night,he's fast but needs to hold on to the ball, luckily he fumbled out of bounds...Im glad Fox didnt throw him in at the beginning of the season...

Derek Wolfe will be a great player for us in the future...He missed OTA's and minicamp due to an NFL rule not allowing undergraduates not being there....

Wolfe needs one more full sack to have more sacks than Watt did in his rookie season last year...Im not saying he's going to be like JJ Watt, but it looks promising....imo...

What are your thoughts on Hillman and Wolfe....

Hillman is nice. Very quick. He could definitely be a "homerun" type of runner for us. Wolfe, my thoughts haven't changed. I feel that he will be a beast sooner than later. Watching Hillman, made me wonder about Moreno too. Moreno never "got over the hump" with us and I'm still shocked that they chose to keep him.......and Ball.

Ball has been doing ok in his few carries though so i'll let him slide for now.

Mays is out for the year.....:smh::smh:

I cant wait for DJ Williams to come back, hopefully they give him enough reps when we play the Chargers again in 3 weeks...

They've been saying on the Broncos message board,Williams might play the "Mike" but I dont know since Brookings been putting people in the right position.....

Woodyward is playing lights out, every since Fox put Brookings in the middle...

Alot of people wanted Tony Carter out of here, after watching him play a bad preseason.....All of a sudden everybody want him as the starter...:lol::lol:

I hope Tracy Porter comes back though...

I hope we can put more pressure with our 4 defensive lineman...AND CAUSE MORE TURNOVERS

I hope Del Rio stay with us for a couple more years because having a new defensive coordinator every year is getting old....:smh::smh::smh:

I think the ceiling for ya is the #2 seed..as much as I would hate to admit it I don't see Houston dropping 2 or more games this year..

Ill be satisfy with that cuz the Patriots have to play SF,Houston,Colts(I hope yall win),Jets again, and the Dolphins twice....

So far my playoff seedings are #1 Houston, #2 Broncos, #3 Ravens/Steelers, #4 Patriots, #5 Steelers/Ravens, #6 Colts/Dolphins/Bengals

I kinda imagined it would be like that before the season..

One of the top 2 seeds would be fine with me. Just have to get it done. We got a lot of road games left including the next two at Cincy and Carolina. Very winnable games and we need to start a winning streak. Hell we won 6 games in a row last year and we can do that and better this year if we stay in sync.

We need to beat Baltimore, for some reason we cant beat them, especially in Baltimore....:smh::smh::smh:

Im glad we're defending the homefield this year

Your game against the Dolphins is going to be good....Both teams are playing well with rookie quarterbacks...

But I do hope the Colts beat the Patriots because I feel we could of won that game against them,if it wasnt for the turnovers

Midseason Grades

Offense- A-

The offense been clicking since the first week, but the turnovers been killing us and for some reason we have a hard time scoring in the first half....Once the team fix these two problems,we will be hard to stop...

Defense-C

The defense hasnt been stopping anyone on third down.We do very well on the first two downs but cant stop a snail on third down...But for the past 6 quarters we was able to stop San Diego and New Orleans when it counted, hopefully this can continue because in the playoffs we need to stop Houston,NE,and Pittsburgh....

Overall-If we cut down the mistakes,we should able to run the table and make some noise in the playoffs...

Bro the crazy thing is it could really happen. Especially with the way all 3 teams playing. If we faced the Broncos of course I would like us to win but I would also be happy to see Peyton making his 3rd trip to the SB..

I want a Manning vs Manning so badly..

I think Peyton gets alot of flack for the way he plays in the playoffs....People act like he should win every playoff game..

If we do get to play the Giants in the Superbowl, everybody is going to bring up his playoff performance and the last Superbowl performance...

I think the ratings would be really good because of the situation,of having two brothers in the Superbowl...

How does Colts fans feel about the owner letting go Manning....He comes off, like a Jerry Jones wannabe to me because every time I see him,he's on twitter talking...I thought it was disrespectful of him, telling Manning to keep it in-house when it was him all over twitter talking about the situation....:confused::confused:

What the Broncos saw across the field from them Sunday night should offer a cautionary tale.

It is what it looks like when a quarterback who has shown the capacity to do everything is actually asked to do everything.

New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees is missing his head coach, chief offensive strategist and gameday play-caller. Sean Payton is suspended for the season as part of the Bountygate penalties.

The Saints lost a Pro Bowl linemen in free agency in Carl Nicks. And they currently possess the league's 32nd-ranked running game and a historically bad defense that is last in yards allowed — they've allowed at least 400 yards in all seven of their games — and 30th in points allowed.

Which means the Saints have fallen into the trap that often greets the franchises with the massively good fortune to find The Guy at quarterback. Because The Guy erases mistakes, makes up for deficiencies and generally wins plenty of games few others would have won.

So, the team leans on him a little more each year.

The Saints are not nearly as talented away from Brees on the depth chart — every defensive position group as well as the offensive line — as they were in the Super Bowl season.

The Patriots aren't nearly as talented on defense as they were when they won Super Bowls. They had at least one, and often more, Pro Bowl players in every defensive position group in the years that had not only a pile of regular-season wins, but also ended in a championship.

Dan Marino's Dolphins didn't consistently put defenses or a running game worthy of his talent as a passer on the field with him during much of his Hall of Fame career.

John Elway's biggest challenge as a football executive in Peyton Manning's time with the Broncos will be not only to surround

the uber-quarterback with what he needs, but also to keep the balance in check.

The Colts, late in Manning's tenure in Indianapolis, had more and more difficulty maintaining their defensive depth and abilities as well as their run-game proficiency. As a result, teams blitzed Manning a little more, especially in 2010, when the Colts were 29th in the league in rushing.

Yes, those years were consistently productive. And the Colts were consistently in the hunt. But as far as overall talent level, it was a far cry from when Edgerrin James won back-to-back rushing titles for the team — 1999 and 2000 — even as Manning also threw for 4,000 yards in both of those years, his second and third seasons in the league.

Certainly as Manning's game grew with his experience, the Colts leaned on him more and more. That's the way it is when a team finds the rare, true franchise quarterback, but there is a line most teams also seem to cross at some point.

When the quarterback is so very good, the expectation becomes that he's Mr. Fix It, that he can overcome deficits, mistakes, poor play and shallow depth charts everywhere else on the roster. That as long as you have him, you have a chance.

All true, but take it too far for too long, and the team that's around him suddenly looks like the Saints looked around Brees on Sunday night. They looked like a team that had no chance when its quarterback showed some rare human frailties behind center, when he wasn't his best.

They looked like a team that has discovered they have a quarterback who can overcome everything except his own bad day.

But nobody should know more than Elway does what a franchise quarterback can do for a team that also puts a substantive run game with him, that has a defense with the ability to get the ball for him, that can lift him in the rare times he needs it.

Because for the select company that has one, it is often the difference between winning seasons and championship seasons.
