I refuse to believe that Wally could be even sort of close to Barry speeds... until you start accidentally time traveling.. this can't be a discussion.

Honestly, Wells is one of my favorite characters on the show. When he's on you're glued to everything he says and does. He plays that kinda good and obviously bad guy very well.

I didn't expect that connection they made between the father and Wells. It's definitely interesting and I hope they take it there.

Overall, I thought the 1st episode was okay. IMO, nothing crazy just okay. The writers are going to have to becareful how they preceed forward with the show. Else they may run into a similiar problem as The Arrow...Too much damn people on #Team Flash
Is it me or does Wells right ear look fake?

Seriouisly y'all need to chill with the spoilers. Because of this thread I knew how Jay Garrick's character would look before the episode even aired. We are all fans here, but how can you enjoy the show when you already know who is going to be making a cameo or which actor is going to play who, there is no spontaneity of the enjoyment of seeing a character for the first time when you already know who is going to be on the next episode. That's why I rarely come in this thread, I'm not telling y'all to stop what you are doing but I'm sure some of you will get where I am coming from

I feel you this is why I'm so behind in this thread. I'm going to catch up before coming back into this shit.

i bailed on this show, arrow and legends of tmrw.

they are basically the same shows and i am tired of the entire teams having super powers. shit is just no logical.

there are so many other good shows on now that to waste time on these no longer makes sense. at this point they are literally in the background as i do other things.

i will save these for netflix for background noise while i am at work.

They went all out on their budget tonight.....

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 2 or 3 episodes with Barry just in a rocking chair reading Dilbert.

i think that this is a truly flawed argument.

just because a show is about fictional characters does not mean it needs to be devoid of logic. it also does not mean that three shows on the same network need to essentially be cookie cutter outlines of each other. actually 4 shows now with super girl.

sentiment like the one you just expressed is why we had AWFUL comic adaptions up until blade. blade was the first movie that took the source material seriously within its own universe.

all 4 of these shows live within the same universe. being that is the case they have far more potential than what is currently being written and broadcast. The first season of arrow and the first 2 of flash were actually good. now they are out of ideas and it is becoming ridiculous. legends of tmrw is just stupid and super girl should have just been cancelled from cbs.

Actually I disagree with you... I think each of these shows fit into what you might be looking for in a show. Personally I love the fact that Flash and Supergirl have fully embraced being purely comic books shows.. with wild Syfy worlds and villains with immense power.

Legends of tomorrow has embraced being a campy adventure show and Arrow has gone back to being the grounded Arrow that I missed from Seasons 1 and 2.

Personally I think these shows are each having amazing seasons and the critic reviews for these shows this season.. go to prove my point.

Hell even Supergirl has been better this year especially compared to the shit show from last year.

I'm not even including the Master Season that Agents of Shield is having right now.

But I do get why these shows don't appeal to some.. but for me.. I deal with a tough job where everyday someone is either crying, bitching, or depressed... and that's not even including the 4 murder trials that I've got coming up this year... I just want to watch something that isn't even close to real life when i get home.

i can understand your viewpoint given your profession.

campy shows do not appeal to me at all. and the lean toward camp has turned me off.

i prefer dark, gritty shows and dark humor. the new (now old) bsg appeals to me as well as the magicians, the expanse, homeland, GOT, house of cards, westworld, etc....

stargate the movie was excellent to me but all of the tv series with the exception of stargate universe turned me off with their camp.

so perhaps this is a preference issue more than anything.
