Barry keeps making the same mistakes over & over again. He went to the past to stop his mom from dying. Things got messed up in the present. The WHOLE speedforce episode was about his decisions have consequences. Jay took Wally's place in the speedforce hell, so Barry can make things right. What does Barry learn from it? I can't mess with the pass but the speedforce didn't say anything about the future!
Abra Kadabra episode left me frustrated! This dude has info that could save iris life. So instead of having them come up with some type of truth serum OR reach out to the MARTIAN MANHUNTER who you learned about the episode before! Ask him to read his mind!
Why didnt Abra Kadabra fly higher & just open up a hole into the future?
Caitlyn said don't take off the necklace because I would rather die than be killer Frost! You would think Julian would understand because of the whole "Savitar turned me into something I didnt want to be". Of course not! Why not just take it off, let her body heal & put it right back on?

the flash and legends of tomorrow USED to be great shows..but the writing this season sucks....its seem like they ran out of storylines and arcs to show...

not really. Barry sees his mother killed infront of him and goes on to be the Flash the next day, yet his girlfriend dies and its the end of the world
technically... His issues with not being able accept his mother dying are the reasons why he ended up creating Flashpoint... which led to him creating this Alternate world that leads to Iris's death. Even the Barry we just saw in the Future isn't the Barry we originally know, because in this universe Flash gives up in 8 years.
I thought it was a good episode.... because it finally allowed Barry to be willing to accept that more then likely he isn't going to save her....... and not let it consume him and break his promise to her.
Barry's inability to accept lose... has been his biggest downfall since episode 1 of this series. This actually felt like true growth.
Actually thought the same thing about her disappearing like that...
As for Killer Frost...
I actually think this version is even more vicious then the Alternate version of Killer Frost...
At least that one started to come around in the end and wasn't to automatically kill people without reason..
I hear ya but didn't we think the same thing when he went into the speedforce last year and had the conversation with his mother?
If we have learned anything about the flash it's that he CANNOT leave well enough alone.
He went into the speedforce a few episodes back to save Wally. Jay is currently in speedforce hell because Barry cant leave well enough alone
Also why did Barry stay so long in the future? Why future Barry didnt give him the info at the beginning?
No this scene from season 2, you thought he had reconciled his mothers death and shit and he went DIRECTLY from this scene and went to the past and created the flashpoint

Man I've been trying to wrap my brain around it and I think it's got to be Ronnie... I can't think of anyone else that would have that effect on her.

And it made me think of something... I think we need to look at Flash to this point as an extended origin story for the Flash that ends up Defeating Reverse Flash and having Iris write that story in the Future... Since day one, everything has been related to or involving that moment and we are witnessing Barry's eventual growth into that true hero. Right now the guy is still learning on the job. If you think of the show like that... a lot of things make sense.
Hate to get super geeky but this helped fill in a lot of the blanks I had about reverse flash

You know this remnant theory does make some sense..... Barry did say he created multiple remnants to kill him and they were all killed but what if him doing this to fight savatar ended up actually creating him... that would explain how savitar knows about Flashpoint and knows about flash and his friends.

Well I look at Frost as wanting to destroy everything that is Kaitlyn Snow meaning her friends also. Especially with them wanting to reverse her back into Kaitlyn.
Ronnie seems to be the only one who would have that effect on her of total obedience. A future Barry Allen wouldn't. I thought it may possibly be the speedster who killed kid Flash in flash point but that's unlikely at this point.
You know that this is the first time... I've really had to wrap my brain around who this could be.. I just feel like Ronnie would be to obvious and there's no way that he would know about Flashpoint. The only people that would know would be Reverse Flash and the current members of Team Flash.
But you know what.... I've got a crazy idea. What if Savitar was the Flashpoint version of Iris?
What if this is the Flashpoint version of Iris that has been created as a remnant due to Barry erasing Flashpoint or dragged into this universe and left in the future. We know what happens to the versions of Team Flash on the other Earths, but we have never seen what happens to the version of team flash that were erased from different timelines. A version of Iris that witnessed the erasing of her brother and father without an explanation and she somehow found herself left on our side without Friends or Family. She has been isolated. So she grew to hate them. They could introduce some kind of mystical means to explain how she ended up a speedster.
She kills her present self, because she knows this Iris isn't real. She uses the Suit as a artificial means of tapping into the Speedforce. After Flashpoint's end... She has been going back in time to create this Speed cult around her for the soul means of figuring out a way to get things back to where they were in her universe. To her... none of the people on this plain of existence matter.. they are just remnants and it would all be erased when she sets things "right"..
This would explain... Why Killer Frost would jump at the chance to work with Savitar, based on your theory that as Killer Frost.. She knows that Iris being Savitar would effectively Destroy Barry. It would explain why Savitar knows everything about Team Flash and it would turn this Season into a fucking 20.
They have enough episodes left to pull the trigger on this and leave an episode to explain how and why we got to this point... This reveal would also have the biggest emotional impact, because Savitar's very existence would be due to Barry once again choosing Family first.
But I don't think they would pull the trigger on this.. .. In the end it's probably going to be either Ronnie or Barry.

It crossed my mind that it may be the fake Jay Garrick. I agree Ronnie is the way too obvious choice. I could see them using a alternate earth Oliver but once again why would earth 1 Kaitlyn/Frost be obedient to Oliver.

Hmmm on the Alternate Earth Oliver... that would be cool, but I agree that it wouldn't make since about the obedience. But whomever it is... It got to be someone that will likely break Barry's heart when he finds out. I don't know if Ronnie would have that type of impact and it has to be someone extremely close to him.
Update.... I think moviepilot's got it.
I forgot that there is a character called "Future Flash". I was right about the fix timeline theory, but wrong about the person in the suit. I'm now 99% certain it's Future Flash. Which would fall in line with my earlier point about the theme of the show being about Barry's inability to deal with Loss. This would be the culmination of what happens when Barry can't deal. I still think that Future Flash is going to be a time remant that 8 years in the Future Barry created while trying to trap Savatar.
