He was probably going off of education. But even then, a man without a degree who works a trade might out earn a woman with a master's degree.

Yeah, it didn't. I know it's true black women go to college more, but they ain't taking subjects that translate to high-earnings. Seen women with masters degrees in the soft subjects who ain't making what cats in trades make. Hell, only 5 percent of lawyers and doctors are black and that's damn near an equal split between men/women.

I think I may have told this story here before but when I was in college (upper tier liberal arts college) I took an acting class for an elective requirement my junior year. One of my scene partners was a freshmen white chick. I figured she was gonna be a theater major because who else is taking acting as a freshmen? I find out she's also taking a pottery class and a bunch of other fun shit too. When I asked her about it she tells me she's not there to get a degree. She comes from hella money and her parents sent her to this 46k/year school (late 90s prices, no financial aid) to find a husband. I asked some other white jawns i knew if this was normal and they all said it was a convo they had with their moms prior to school. Find your husband while you're there. Shit was shocking since the Black folks on campus were in survival mode: In school to get a degree, to get a better job, to get tf up out the hood. Two different existences.

I don't understand the urge to debate this, even from the start.
All those women will get their permanent comeuppance in the end. They always have.
There are rarely any exceptions to this.
