When it comes to politics you have to know your subject matter.
A good politician will take you back to the 1920's / 1930's to discuss the origins of certain issues.
You have to know your S^%t.

Trump is a master of getting out of those knowledge based questions.
He always pivots to race and how a certain group is getting screwed.
