: In an absolutely BONEHEAD move, Trump’s attorneys just admitted Trump may have taken classified briefings of phone calls with foreign leaders.
This is absolutely wild.
In a letter to the GOP chair of the House Intelligence Committee, two of Donald Trump’s defense lawyers argue that the fact Trump may have these classified briefings “indicates that the White House staff simply swept all documents from the President’s desk and other areas into boxes.”
In defending Trump…they may have just made it even worse for him.
Trump’s attorneys wrote the letter to urge Congress to tell the Justice Department to “stand down.”
It gets even better:
Congress doesn’t even have the power to do that.
Who needs prosecutors?
With attorneys like these, Trump will continue to be absolutely f*cked.
BREAKING: Donald Trump's own lawyer shades him in exasperation, says to the judge in the E. Jean Caroll case "I know you understand what I am dealing with" while trying to explain whether or not the disgraced former president actually intends to testify in the lawsuit.
The remark happened during a private sidebar between Trump's lawyer, the judge, and Caroll's attorney and wasn't overheard by reporters or jurors but nonetheless was recorded in the court transcript.
Trump's attorney was voicing frustration because Trump had stated that he would fly to New York to "confront" Caroll but will not actually be following through on the threat.

BREAKING: The Washington Post drops bombshell, reveals that “at least eight of the 16 Georgia Republicans” who conspired with Trump in the “fake electors scheme” in Georgia just “accepted immunity deals” from Attorney General Fani Willis.

Willis already “told the eight that they will not be charged with crimes if they testify truthfully in her sprawling investigation into efforts by Trump, his campaign and his allies to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in Georgia.”
Willis has made it clear that the meeting of Trump’s electors on Dec. 14, 2020, despite Republican Governor Brian Kemp’s certification of Biden’s win, is a key target of her investigation, along with Trump’s phone calls to multiple state officials and his campaign’s potential involvement in an unauthorized breach of election equipment.
