There is alot of misinformation out here telling people they need to 'own' this or that. Getting a percentage of the revenue like Michael Jordan or getting a lucrative deal is just as good as ownership. You need to exploit their need to 'own' and get paid.

Businesses can increase wealth tremendously or they can destroy wealth - resources or capital from the owner. Because you are emotionally attached, it drains you easily.

Bill Gates 'owned' Microsoft, now he has a small percentage and has diversified with owning other companies. He has generating more wealth from non-Microsoft activity. Giving your children a diversified appreciating asset is much more prefereable than having everything tied up in one company.

The suit alleges that when Broadus and Miller approached Post, the company attempted to buy the brand outright. The two rappers rejected the offer, believing it would “destroy the whole purpose of leaving the company to their families.”

Still, according to the suit, the company “pretended” to be on board with the goal of Broadus Foods, and in December 2022 the rappers and Post entered a partnership promotion agreement in which Post would manufacture, market, distribute and sell Snoop Cereal.

Due to slavery, the groups with car factories and highly industrialized engage in behavior that we lack. Many of them will engage in protectionism either through consumer behavior or the government. As soon as segregation was abolished, black owned businesses disappeared; there is low cohesion amoung us.

Due to the constant destruction creation cycles of companies, it is highly unlikely that you can leave something for their families. It would most likely be absorbed into a much larger entity. Look at companies like Sears, JC Penny, Toys R Us, RadioShack. Look at BGOL versus Twitter, if you want to reach black consumer; you will have to go through a white company.

President Trump is another person that licensed his name for properties rather than taking on all the debt. As soon as his name soured publicly, you can easily take it off without completing a sale.

This is what happens when you don’t vote properly. Democrats are willing to put a bill out here to prevent this, but the Republicans are not going to do shit about this because they the ones made this possible.
