Rumored Reason For Giulia's Absence From WWE Following Loss To Stephanie Vaquer
There were reports leading into her title vs. title match with Vaquer that she was dealing with some sort of a visa issue, as well as an undisclosed injury, that require her to take some time off. Thus explaining why the massive main event match with Stephanie was not saved for this month's Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event.
This was a dumb spot. AEW needs to invest in storylines and stop doing indy spots like this.

Carmelo just aint over..im not sure what needs to change but either he's being poorly booked or something because dude has the wrestling talent. He's fought multiple Matches against cody rhodes, but i think he needs to start a feud with Ludwig or someone in the intercontinental division.
WWE bookers/writers need to do better for Black male talent in the main roster, but talent also have to put in work too.
Carmelo was great on NXT but he comes off so different now. Yeah he's really good in the ring but I don't believe him when he's on the mic cutting a promo.
I think a gimmick change up may be in need for him. He's just not over, no thanks to booking but also no thanks to himself.
Same is gonna happen when JeVon Evans gets the main roster call.
Yeah, I like Booker but I'm sure he knows what he had to do get to the belt put on him. Look how long it took booker to get the WWE belt put on him when he came over from WCW. The king booker bit put him over and he always had the wrestling ability. Issue is these brothas need to have a gimmick that gets them over with the fans because they are plenty talented.
They should let Melo join with the Street Profits along with Trick on the main roster. Write a story based on how Jevon called Trick the new Melo and he should call Melo apologize and tell him he now understands the role of a veteran and how these up and coming kids dont respect those that pave they way. Have them reconcile at or after Wrestlemania as a surprise faction. They can run the main roster like the 4 horsemen. Melo = Flair Trick = Luger/Windham Dawkins = Arn Anderson Montez = Tully Blanchard. Let Melo cook on the mic and

Carmelo has the 'little brother talking shit but can't back it up' vibe to me. He can do a bunch of moves, but he's small.
To me he's just a tag-team guy or mid-carder at best.
I think his ceiling in terms of wrestling ability is Eddie Guerrero. He has a similar build.

Nah....that's a high ass ceiling. I can't see Carmelo reaching Eddie Guerrero heights. Eddie had a lot of support due to his wrestling ability, personal story and relationships he had with other wrestlers (Rey, Chris Benoit, etc....)
Carmelo is a solid midcarder but he ain't ever going to be a main event guy.
I was just talking about in terms as wrestling ability. Think about someone like Lance Storm or malenko..they were limited because of their personality and not having a good gimmick. I think Carmelo could be a top guy just based on wrestling ability alone. I watched his first match with Cody Rhodes and he more than held his own and he more than held his own.

To be fair to AEW, there was bad weather (tornado outbreaks, etc.) that affected travel of some of the talent and I'm sure had an affect on the crowd last night.
Honestly, last night's Dynamite was decent (by AEW standards) and lately the show has gotten a little better as evidenced by the ratings improving.
Definitely an improvement over the shit they were putting out just a few months ago.
