This is why I like Cody because he was a consistent worker and showed up to wrestle anyone.
I'm all for folks chasing their dreams but at some point in life you gotta realize it ain't gonna happen.
She's staring at 40 with a kid and trying to make it in the music business, which is a business filled with much younger artists.
It's like a running back in his 30s still thinking he can make it to the NFL.
I saw her performing at WaleMania and honestly it felt kinda sad watching her knowing this is her full-time "career" now as compared to last year's show when it was just a side gig.
That explains why she was doing so much talking last weekend. I get it, she's a backstage reporter. But they basically had her monologuing for everyone that (for character reasons) didn't want to do an interview, and she was weirdly lengthy and passionate about it.
Crazy right? Last year around this time the Internet was going crazy over her, and the way she emotionally announced WrestleMania with the Cody announcement even went viral. she was hands down the hottest announcer in the game and to be very fucking honest it's a easy fucking gig, and I'm assuming pretty good money. Now she's just sad.
Goes to show you what the wrong partner can do for you, you just know dumb ass ricochet was gassing her up and telling her she deserved more... Thing is she already had a lot, Great WWE announcers are remembered forever and have pretty much the best job security in the game.
