People don't understand how many women are abused (quiet is kept? Some of the most violent stalkers are women on men but especially women on women)
It made me not see things in black and white on a lot of levels.
Men do some inhuman things to women and children
But I've also seen abused men (also straight and gay) and working fathers living in cars because the baby mama or wife lied on them

Honestly back when I did social work I encountered everyone. I guess it was predominantly people of color but there is a whole system at play that's complicated and the average person wouldn't understand. When it came to financial SERVICES? Particularly WIC and food stamps and rental assistance? It was a lot of white and Jewish. I don't know the new term house less, unhoused unsheltered were black Latino. But there IS a sizeable Asian homeless community but they are insulated as hell and very well supported.

It's complicated because there is drugs, mental issues, abuse, financial etc.
We ALL out here struggling.
But being Black and woman? It's the worst. Black male with a record? Very difficult.
