All Dominicans I know, and I know plenty, consider themselves black. I have never met one that doesn't. They have actually gone out of their way to include me in family functions. I think it is just the way of individuals. Don't forget, we have Black Americans that hate other black and want to be white.

I agree to a certain point. There are european looking Dominicans that stay away from dark skin Dominicans and high level govenments jobs for fairer skin Dominicans. A darker skin Dominican born older cat told me this and he even said there is a place in the Dominican repulblic that whites live only and darker not really wanted . he said that some hate on Haitians and of course in latin America african latinos are treated poorly. Yes Domincans do organize and get along with each other overall but Im talking about the upper class ones.

By the way Carribean foks are mixed and not just beauty in Trinidad. I think Trinidad beauty is more exposed. I seen some Haitians that you couldn't tell if they were from Dominican republic or not. My mom side is light skin people think they are dominican but that shows you the world beauty can come from anyways colors shape and sizes. of course beautiful dark skin friendly likables beauties in haiti too. These white dudes enjoying themselves around the world with colored women. A few care packages here and there when you travel Brazil, africa, etc and you are good to go

my boy went to cuba via Canada. Well he lives there and he bought women stuff from the 99 cents store lotion, soap, etc and he felt like god. treated like god. diem pieces too.
