I think I've been the biggest offender on this one. There really isn't a federal law for collusion... that's what I mean by doesn't amount to Federal Collusion. But there are other things that he could be charged with.

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/07/12/what-is-collusion-215366
agreed -I'm calling it collusion
Now by federal election laws he is in clear violation of campaign finance

"No person shall knowingly solicit, accept or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation," reads Title 11 in the Code of Federal Regulations, section 110.20 (g). A contribution can be "anything of value," including negative information about a political opponent.

It is unlawful to "provide substantial assistance in the solicitation, making, acceptance or receipt of a contribution or donation," reads 11 CFR 110.20 (h).

What I really want to see prosecuted - according to section 110 of Article III. of the Constitution of the United States:

Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them,
or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open Court.

As well as campaign finance laws. You can't accept anything of value from a foreign entity.

you are misinformed ...
Rosenstein directly controls the budget for Mueller and the FBI director will still report up to Rosenstein for all things russia collusion / obstruction
If the FBI director refuses to enforce warrants and indictments - well- he will be in a world of trouble
Thanks for clarifying this for me.

Man my fucking head is hurting..... this shit is fucking wild.

This shit literally dropped today.

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are questioning the Trump administration’s decision to settle a money laundering case with a Russian real estate firm in light of revelations that the company was represented by the same Russian lawyer who met last year with President Donald Trump’s son.

The letter sent by House Judiciary ranking member John Conyers and other Democrats asks whether lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was involved in settlement negotiations between Russian real estate firm Prevezon Holdings Ltd. and the Justice Department. Prevezon agreed last May to pay $6 million to the government to avoid a trial on charges the firm laundered proceeds from a $230 million tax fraud.

Veselnitskaya represented Dennis Katsyv, Prevezon’s owner. Katsyv backed a lobbying campaign last year aimed at scuttling Magnitsky Act sanctions against Russian interests.

Man I almost feel like this shit needs a spin off thread... you can't make this shit up.

So basically... Sessions is right back on the hook again because Trump Jr said that this same lawyer was trying to talk to him about the Magnitsky Act. So now you have to ask... why was this company that was alleged to have laundered 230 million randomly allowed to settle for only 6 million.

Yeah I thought that Preet got fired because he was investigating Trump related crimes, but I read yesterday that the lawyer they met with is the one that Preet was arguing (I think) against. At the very least the case was being handled by his office. I'm also reading that the WH was the one who crafted Jr's response about the adoptions. So this may also go back to obstruction and trying to protect Don Jr instead of just Flynn when he fired Comey.

I'm on another site semi-arguing with folks. They are saying there is no quid pro quo if the Russian's weren't getting anything from providing information, but the Trump campaign changed the RNC platform, discussed removing sanctions, and the adoption bit was regarding Magnitsky Act (sanctions). Russia has the ban on abortions in response to that act, and they want the act abolished.
