One group that's going to be affected and is being overlooked is the lower enlisted military families. They all qualify for SNAP assistance programs and many use them to survive meanwhile the enlisted spouse is out serving the interests of this country.

The point is, the majority of tax money doesn't go to food stamps. It goes to a lot of other bullshit like the military. I'm not worried about people misusing food stamps.
Though military is a hug portion of the budget. A large chuck of the budget goes to "entitlements" (medicare, medicaid, SS, snap, etc..........)
for what its worth, this was the orange idiot's budget, so it's not what congress is going to pass necessarily. Don't get me wrong, Paul Ryan probably gets aroused at the thought of all the cuts, but he has to deal with his members and no-lip Mcconnell doees too, so even on that side there will be some pushback if trumps stuff is included in the budget talks on capitol hill.
We don't have to cut anything to fund everything. Just continue the deficit spending.
